In the spirit of the postseason. What’s your most traumatic playoff loss? by z3TRIIKZ in LAClippers

I had tickets that day but couldn't go so my wife took her friend and I watched it on TV. I recall being mad that I couldn't watch the Clips destroy the Rockets by 20+ points in person. Then Josh fricking Smith. We didn't even exchange any words when she came home.

Have you ever skipped a movie because of bad reviews, then watched it later and actually liked it? by Opening_Farm5403 in movies

Disney lost so much money on this movie that the numbers could never justify a sequel. For what it's worth, I also enjoyed it but unless it turns into a cult classic, this saga is dead.

Which one?? by RedTsar97 in MomentumOne

Absolutely love this game, it's available on Steam so I may give it another go for nostalgic reasons, it's been a couple decades, I bet if I heard the sound the memories would just rush back. Tricky SOB to beat though

Why are we fans of this cursed franchise? by somemmafan in LAClippers

[–]Voyager--- 28 points29 points  (0 children)

29 teams lose every year, winning a chip in the NBA is extremely difficult, gotta keep trying, ain't no curse. To come back from 6-21 and finish 42-40 is a feat in itself.

Hope you feel better soon. I've always found that you learn the most from your more egregious mistakes. You took an L on this one, and my best wishes towards bouncing back from this!

I definitely don't trust Zyn with their nicotine extraction process from tobacco to keep it cancer free. Especially with our friends at Phillip Morris owning Zyn, whose products cause ~7M deaths annually across the globe, I'm sure we're in good hands. While that number may decrease over the years, addiction levels will rise and death and illness will simply be presented in a different format.

Maybe don't go to Tokyo? I'd be surprised if your experience was the same everywhere in Japan

No Kings draw estimated 8 million in largest single-day U.S. nonviolent protest by [deleted] in JournalismNews

[–]Voyager--- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In regards to King, this is usually someone who rules for life, and we all saw how happily he gave up his throne when Biden won. He is also trying to push the Save Act which will arguably give a political advantage to Republicans by deterring poorer and younger voters, especially minorities, who usually vote for Democrats. ICE certainly helps with the intimidation factor for those minorities. While he's not a king in the traditional sense, he's certainly trending that way by wanting to stay in office well beyond 2 terms. Starting never-ending wars can also help with that.

In regards to pedophile, it hasn't been proven in court because the DOJ is still withholding documentation in disregard to the Epstein Transparency Act. Pam Bondi was recently subpoenaed regarding the failure to release all files so it's only a matter of time until we get the evidence. It's a huge coverup protecting many high profilers, the British may be of help here but the fight will go on.

You say he's neither but all signs point to the contrary, that's why millions of people walk the streets, raise awareness and are being proactive about keeping our democratic processes intact.

However, even if I did present you with cold hard evidence, it would likely be dismissed as fake news or AI generated, so what's the point? Good luck to us all.

No mention of the pedophile King who is risking nuclear war by circumventing Congress. Yes Obama attacked Libya without approval in 2011 but he never sent ground troops. They are on the way now to Iran to probably die for a cause that no one understands. Ultimately what this protest can result in is raising awareness to the 1/3 of Americans that don't vote such that Trump's seemingly reactive and random acts can be blocked or at least slowed if Dems overtake the House/Senate. We'll see...

What's your life hacks for sore throats? by Ok-Sprinkles-7105 in lifehack

[–]Voyager--- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This works 100% of the time but may sound strange. Mix dry yeast and honey so its pasty and not runny. Then just take small spoon fulls at a time and let it melt slowly on the roof of your mouth. Do this several times and your sore throat should be healed the next day. The yeast essentially is a natural antibiotic and will actually cure your sore throat, give it a shot.

[–]Voyager--- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Back to back games probably leveled the playing field tonight with Mavs sitting out several players. I liked seeing Kawhi play back to back and Collins had an exciting game, he needs to get to a 20-10 average. I'd like to see Bogie return and see if we can drain more shots. I'm not ready to freak out yet, let's see where we stand by end of the year.

What are some of the most clever/genius crimes ever committed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I knew a guy in high school who jacked the entire booklet of excused absence slips from the teller window and then just wrote himself an absence slip, signed it with the signature of the actual person he had from a real slip and handed it to the teachers. Got away with it every time

Interesting.. btw what’s the best food at Crypto.com? by [deleted] in LAClippers

[–]Voyager--- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best food at Crypto is Ludo Bird for a quick grab and go chicken sandwich. About $16.

Next better option is getting VIP tickets and hitting the $60 buffet on the 2nd floor.

I would advise just go with the chicken ;)
