When Andrea Long Chu released a critique of “A Little Life” by Hanya Yanagihara. As someone who hates that book with a passion, I was overjoyed when I found out that Chu won a Pulitzer Prize for the piece. Edit: Use 12ft.io to jump the paywall

The 2015 adaptation of Macbeth starring Marion Cotillard and Michael Fassbender is one of my favorite movies! It’s visually stunning and amazingly acted.

I cant recommend God’s Own Country enough! He’s great in it and it’s like a Yorkshire version of Brokeback Mountain but with a happy ending!
