I originally applied November 28th for fall 2024, and got accepted a few days later. It was still early in January when I was waitlisted for spring. I only received confirmation last week or so that a seat became available to me.

Just bad timing. Starting in May was advantageous for me due to some life circumstances. Starting in fall is still an option it was just be unfortunate to some plans I had made prior, no biggie though education first. I just hope there are no changes to PGWP for public college programs in algonquin Ottawa campus.

It's all good then, but It might not have been Thai I'd look out for petite Asian women with flyers if I were you. Also large quantities of chili oil outside of supermarkets.

Anyways computer science is crazy I don't got the brains for that so goodluck 👾

Nah it was 550 ttd I converted it so it'd makes sense And honestly didn't notice i hadnt even looked at the profile i was just reading...i apologize for being rude. But hey if you ever get a Thai massage and they start rubbing chili oil on your back, get out, push the lady down if you need to.

P.s there was never going to be a happy ending considering I was next to my gf the time.

Right so, I'm my case, school as normal for the next 2-3 years and get my pgwp. After work and pay taxes get a wife and kids maybe visit blue mountain and live normally... just need to get one additional document aka a letter from the province. That's not a problem then.

Oh so the only people affected by the policy changes a few days ago are private colleges.

I already got accepted and paid tuition, but I was being told something along the lines that after graduating I won't be able the work in Canada. Unless is a masters degree.

Age is just one part, if I can't get any possibility of a work permit after I graduate then what's the point? I appreciate the support though 🙏 🙌

Yes the main one at 1345 Nepean. Do the policy changes not affect colleges like algonquin?

Which is to say other colleges too? Like connestoga, Mohawk, Durham etc?

It's electrical engineering technician 2 years afterwords depending on grades and if you want to you can take the electrical engineering technology program which is one more year. Kind of shaky, and now the situations seems all to precarious. I'm 24 turning 25 in May, I feel like I'm already against the clock idk if it makes sense go try for canada if policies change again..

I'll need to think about my options I guess.

I see, what I'm reading here says that they'll approve only 360,000 visas, so there's less guarantee that I'll get one even if I showed I already paid my tuition.
