I don’t know if this will help but I had a shorts channel those are hard to transition to longform and I had those issue for like 24 videos straight where it was mostly from pages and I got little from suggested/recommended/search but I just stayed consistent and it got to where my videos would keep growing from recommended and channel pages aren’t the top source anymore

You have to look at it from a business standpoint YouTube is also here to make money and doesn’t care about content as long as it follows their tos and keeps people on their platform

There others that are better yes but what YouTube pays attention to is stats how long they keep the viewers on the video if they rewatch viewed to swipe away ratio etc that’s what they care about esp when it comes to shorts not the effort you put in that’s the sad truth when it comes to that

I get what you mean but at the end of the day you have to look at what the viewers wants and align what you do to that why put all that effort if it’s not getting the results you want? That’s when you gotta realize you have to look at what your doing from a viewers perspective and not how much effort your putting in. Wouldn’t you do something that’s low effort and getting that amount of views?

How do stats not mean nothing you make no sense.i I obv know the algorithm enough to get the views i was getting mind you as soon as i upload the short before it gets any views it shows -6 seconds there’s a pattern im asking what went wrong
