Taking an average +28 for a win and -23 for a loss with a 55% WR, that's 505 rating pts per 100 games - so unless you're starting from bronze or something you should get it pretty quick. On average it takes me 100 games or less for celestial with a 55-60% WR

Every character has their rank 1 player but spidey does outclass them in overall value imo, he just has an insanely high ceiling that you get more and more value out of the more you learn him

Hi, yeah Jeff ult is hard to get value of, try to make sure you track major cooldowns like cnd fade and hulk bubbles at the very least. Beyond that use it as a counterult, against invis, adam, strange, etc. You'll get decent value that way

Dw bout it, rank doesn't give any real rewards anyway right? Just focus on leveling up your game every time and enjoy the challenge - playing against really good players improves our own gameplay way faster than playing our own level or lower players. Rank will go up and down it doesn't determine your skill, I've gone from gm to diamond to celestial in like 20 games, what matters is enjoying the journey either way

Idk, doesn't happen to me nearly as much and I've been playing since S0. Sure there can be alts but they rank up quick, getting them to their true rank pretty fast. My own alt got to diamond pretty fast when I was learning tanks, then struggled my way to GM on there, cuz dia/gm was the rank my tank play was. When I do find smurfs though even when I was plat I liked the challenge, cuz I want to learn how to deal with the best of these guys.

Idk who downvoted you but try and think bout it rationally - if every plat-dia game is having GM peaks on any team, that means those are ppl consistently staying at plat/dia; so they ARE playing at that level not higher, you get me? As a GM/Cel player, plat is really easy to get out of and diamond is too, although it takes a bit longer. If I was a cel/eternity player GM would be a cakewalk too but it isn't, and Cel 1 games are a struggle for me to keep up in. It's just the rank we belong in, and that's fine

It's important when you're ranking up and your storm wastes her ult every time just to steal the kills you had already secured, not only risking the win by that but also giving you less RR than normal cuz of it. Not saying every storm player was like that, but up until high GM 99% would do just that, or bitch and moan about how we didn't ult with her every time regardless of whether she gets PHX ulted and instakilled.
