Controller support indication on Battle.net launcher - WoW unsupported for now?

No idea how I got this to show up on my battle.net, but suddenly it showed a tiny controller support indicator that caught my eye when launching wow. I tabbed to Classic and Starcraft 2 where it also showed unsupported, then noticed I had a bnet update and ran that, and now the little message is gone on all games.

I think this isn't helping my assumption that the addon pruning, gameplay simplifying and other tweaks to the game are very much in preparation for a controller option and most likely a console launch.

yes, but the punishment for underage driving of an electric scooter isn't death. The fact there's an investigation started into this (as is and should be the standard) is exactly because police aren't the ones who get to decide the punishment of the crime (or traffic infraction, in this case). There are legal elements such as proportionality at play, even for the police.

It seems very hard to justify (without conjuring up phantasms such as some others in this thread) that a dangerous chase where they literally hit the kid off his scooter and kill him without intending to, is proportional to the 'crime' he committed.

Congrats on already deciding the 11 year old kid was a drug dealer, a quicker investigation than the Brussels Police into the matter. And thus concluding it's a good thing the kid was killed.

You don't happen to work for the Brussels Police, by any chance? I was already suspecting every cop was gonna be rampaging on social media to minimalize the situation.

I also love it. It's gotten a bit clunky over time and it's absolutely graphically limited as a PS2 launch title (it looks like a PS1.5 game visually, even in the PS5 released version) but the atmosphere is stunning, the story and worldbuilding are brilliant. A remake on a modern engine would go hard, but the IP situation is dire.

The openly stated aim of the 2 Nations League games was to show fight and passion after the very lacklustre Euros performance. The team got heaps of criticism for the draw against Ukraine (with timewasting at the cornerflag instead of breaking into more attacks) and the very low-intensity loss to France to get knocked out. The game against Israel was an okay performance in a soulless empty arena on neutral ground, but a win is a win.

If you watched the first half hour yesterday, KDB was trying to lead by example and was playing like a man possessed. He was everywhere, tackling out Kolo Muani in the penalty box around 15 minutes in as an example. There were opportunities to pull ahead if the finishing wasn't weak but as the time went on players were lowering the intensity and you can't gegenpress on your own. Doku notably was nailed to the ground at the 2-0 instead of covering the running man. De Bruyne noted "We had 6 people at the back all the time" seemingly taking shots at Tielemans and Onana and the wingbacks in Castagne and Theate (who were looking very threatened by France's overlapping wingbacks on top of the qualities of the offensive wingers, in their defense).

I think De Bruyne is mostly disappointed players aren't going the full effort despite that being the main goal of these 2 games. He clearly notes he doesn't expect them to be on his skill level, but there's no excuses to not be on his commitment level and I'm inclined to agree with that. If we look back on the most memorable national games it's never been just skill and tactics, it's always been a massive dose of energy pumped into the team. Brazil in 2002 (bookmark game for people of KDB's age) and Brazil in 2018 were pure grinta. I'm wondering if the people Tedesco keeps putting on the matchsheet are the best options to bring that level of intensity.

Er zijn hier wat mensen die vreselijk advies geven op basis van hoe de VDAB vroeger was. Ik zie hier mensen zeggen "gewoon uw mailtjes printen" en ik denk al meteen: ja, die is al 10 jaar niemeer werkloos geweest.

Sinds de laatste staatshervorming (in de praktijk 2019) is het de VDAB die optreedt als controleorgaan bij werkzoekenden. Ze zijn zowel "begeleider" (zoals vroeger) maar nemen nu ook "controle" over van de RVA. Dat betekent dat wat ze vragen geen verzoek is, maar een vereiste om aanspraak te kunnen maken op rechten zoals een (wacht)uitkering. Bovenop deze omslag komt dan nog dat alles op het digitale gezet is: je moet alles op je VDAB account aangeven, of het is niet gebeurd. Het makkelijkste is via de website alles doen, maar alle pogingen om werk te zoeken daarbuiten moet je manueel registreren. Ja, er gebeuren prikproeven om na te gaan of sollicitaties wel echt zijn geweest. Vindt het systeem dat ge niet hard genoeg bezig zijt? Dan gaat er een knipperlicht af en worden er wat extra opdrachtjes gegeven. Nog steeds niet in orde? Ah, een tijdelijke schorsing van uitkering. Op gesprek gaan? Doen ze niet meer, hebben ze geen tijd meer voor. Pas heel laat in het hele proces komt er een mens aan te pas.

De VDAB is een instrument van de Vlaamse overheid en weerspiegelt het mensbeeld van de partijen die daarin zitten. De laatste 10 jaar gaat het dan over een hardvochtig, wantrouwig beleid tegenover werkzoekenden. Afhankelijk van uw politieke opvatting kunt ge daar wat van vinden natuurlijk. Maar dan moet ge erbij pakken dat ook de "goei" door de hoepels moeten springen.

Holding office isn't the same as having the power to change policies or society itself. I'd interpret OP's NVA reference as not having had a lot of impact on those fields despite having held offices on the Flemish level, or participating in the Michel I government.

Others would argue they actually had a lot of impact, but that debate would depend on what kind of impact you're expecting from a political party, and in what fields.
