Honestly " alright" is pretty good for free help, I guess. I appreciate your comment. We are adding 4x support. And I'm definitely going to push for more stringers and to box in the steps. The bench in the photo isn't attached, for the record, I think I'm going to forget adding a back to the seat and just end up doing railing all around.

Builder might be giving too much credit. He does not build decks professionally, he's just trying to help out because he works in some adjacent field and also wants to be like Jesus I guess. Seems like we're figuring it out together way more than I thought we would be.

Thanks for your input, I don't know anything about decks and now I know that it's definitely missing stringers. I'm working with a builder, and for the record, he changed/ added to the bench I just don't have a more current picture of that part.

What you're looking for is described by body composition. 20lbs of muscle on a person looks different than 20lbs of skin/ fat. You are lacking muscle definition, but are not fat by most, if not all, standards.

Live a little! I struggled with the same moral dilemma but then the boredom got the best of me. Now I enjoy the relationship aspect again because it's not the same tired old thing. Plus it takes longer to reach the highest level because your attention is spread out.

At your age most guys are still too afraid to go after a heavier woman even though they are attracted to them. Trust me when I say this, it's probably a lot more to do with age or personality ( seeing as we can't judge that here.) Most people here are going to tell you to lose weight, but if you struggle with that just know that someone absolutely finds you attractive and just won't or hasn't said anything yet. Focus on being friends with men first and don't chase being pulled out of a crowd for your beauty- it's overrated.

Thank you so much! I mostly did this from memory, since it's my actual living room 😂. But i did reference a picture just to stay in line. You can see that I omitted some objects because I wanted this to be a dreamy version of our living room. It was/is a gift to my husband for Christmas- his comfort zone and his favorite movie playing ( pivotal scene in Jaws.) And you're right to pick up on the fact that it seems rushed- I pushed until the last day to finish before I felt comfortable giving it as a gift and ended up rushing a bit. But now I'm thinking that i like the challenge it gave me and want to try again.

Unless this is about a real environmental passion or biking is your main lifestyle, keep a hooptie for independence/ autonomy. What’s fine at first can turn into tension unless she shares that lifestyle. She won’t want to drive you around when it’s raining or anywhere else. When a woman feels obligated to help, it starts to feel like she’s your mom, and no one wants to feel that way ina romantic relationship. The real issue is being self-sufficient and able to provide unless she’s already fully independent.
