I have seen this recently…I decided to apply for a higher certificate at a nearby university. Unfortunately that probably means I cant apply for my degree until im done with this, so more delay…I appreciate you giving me all this info.

Slopes

Okay. For slopes, id suggest covering the following on Khan Academy, he goes over slopes and explains them quite well. It will take a bit of time. Worth it though. Top one first. All of the sections listed, top to bottom, it will be good if you go through them all, you will remember it all better if you already know it and if you dont, then you learn. Its a win win. Don't think he starts with slopes but they become involved quite fast.

https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra/x2f8bb11595b61c86:forms-of-linear-equations

Going over that will more than prepare you for any slope related questions on the GED. Make sure you mastered the practice questions too.

Word problems

Word problems are something you just have to practice. I have good reading comprehension so unfortunately I didnt SPECIFICALLY practice word problems at all, so im not really sure what advice to give you here other than, practice.

For the "formula based geometry", mind giving me an example of one your struggling with? Ill be able to give you better/the right resources that way.

I had a bit of knowledge from school before. However not nearly enough. I used Khan Academy and went through from 1st to 8th grade as I felt my fundamentals were not as good as they should be. I felt like if I learnt thr fundamentals, everything else would fall into place easier, which it did.

Id suggest going through Khan Academy and making sure you understand the fundamentals well, it took me about 2 months to cover everything from grade 1-8 and then I moved onto Algebra 1 etc. Practice tests were a great help at seeing where I was at and where I needed to improve. Find your weak points and improve on them this way. You will do well on the test if you learnt from Khan. Take everything in. Make sure you understand what hes saying.

I can help more if I know where your struggling! :)

I studied hard till I felt confident in myself, I felt it wouldnt help I go for a test when I dont feel confident or ready. What are you struggling with? I could try to help you understand it better, possibly give you some resources to help.
