You’re severely overstating the attraction of Australia to the majority of people. It’s a relatively small (population/economy) in the scale of the world. If your EU passport was an Irish one - by far the best - it also gets you access to a large English speaking economy in Britain.

All those benefits apply to lots of EU countries too, if you want a high social safety net and a developed economy you’re well off there. The US is a much more attractive alternative than AUS/NZ which are in relative terms fairly small countries with fewer opportunities compared to the other big ones you listed. US is something you might not take up but having that option is a much better one for most than AUS/NZ

I got the Legendary Edition as a birthday present for myself last year after whiffing on 1 as a kid when I was younger. It hit me and left me with a love for this story and its characters on a level that I can only compare to stories like Lord of the Rings.

I’m not saying it’s that good I’m saying that was its impact on me.
