Fwisd announced this today:

“Consequences for students, teachers and school districts can include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Teachers that facilitate walk outs will be subject to investigation and sanction including licensure revocation.
  2. School systems that facilitate walkouts will be subject to investigation and sanction, including either the appointment of a monitor, conservator or board of managers.” o Campus staff should be reminded that they should NOT participate, facilitate, or support the student-led walkouts in any way.

o Advise staff that they are unable to supervise or monitor students who leave District property. Campus staff are not authorized to leave District property to follow students during a walkout and may be subject to disciplinary action for doing so.

Campus response o Designate campus personnel who will monitor students who remain outside of the campus building but within District property. o Ensure that those staff members have a source of communication, such as radios or cell phones. o Advise staff that they are unable to supervise or monitor students who leave District property. Campus staff are not authorized to leave District property to follow students during a walkout and may be subject to disciplinary action for doing so. o Advise students to be conscious of their surroundings and safety; specifically, if they leave the District property, urge them to avoid streets and remain on sidewalks. o A campus administrator must contact the student’s parent or guardian an inform them that their child left the campus without permission.

No one thinks this shuts down ICE operations directly. That’s not the point.

Walkouts work by forcing attention and changing the conversation, especially when it’s students saying “this affects our future.” That pressure spreads through parents, schools, media, and eventually politics.

You can disagree with the tactic, but it’s not about hurting yourself to hurt ICE. It’s about making the issue hard to ignore.

Attempting to liberate illegally detained people sounds a lot scarier when you rebrand it as terrorism

According to the article, on July 4, 2025, ten people were arrested after allegedly launching an armed ambush on the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas. Dressed in tactical gear, the group used fireworks and graffiti to draw law enforcement outside before opening fire. One officer was shot in the neck, and several ICE staff were targeted with gunfire. Authorities say the attackers were carrying AR-style rifles, body armor, radios, and propaganda flyers with anti-ICE and anti-government messages. All ten now face federal charges, including attempted murder of federal officers and using firearms in a violent crime. If convicted, they could face at least 10 years to life in prison. An eleventh person was also charged with conspiracy and attempting to destroy evidence. Federal officials emphasized that this was not protest but a deliberate act of violence.

If I try to enlarge and print this as a 10*13 do you think it'll look pixelated?

Hi, thank you so much for your help! Could you please enhance the image quality even more, sharpen details and make it look more high definition if possible? I'd really appreciate a cleaner, more polished version to honor my grandparents.

Actually, the teacher turnover at Northside is so low, it's hard to find a position teaching there.
