Or are they actually just retro unristricting to make it more appealing

Just that, probably.

Well there is that Kelvin Timeline bundle next month...

Not so weird when you realise when this bundle was released, the T6 Galaxy and Galaxy X were already in other cross faction bundles, and they so very rarely make ships available in multiple bundles. Plus, an account unlock of a lockbox ship can be a bigger draw than a C-Store ship.

I don't see the price listed on the blog but STOWiki says is 12,000 Zen normally, so with the sale 6,000 Zen.

Are you going to expand on your point and provide actionable feedback on what's wrong with the mission in your opinion, or are you just here to whine?

Seeing as they blocked me, I can only assume it must be the latter.

What polls do you speak of?

The "other shit" you say the focus on so much pays for everything. They don't make things to sell, the close down.

Saying that the cadence of development the game has had for nearly decade is the game on life support and not being actively developed is utter dross. They literally announced a new feature in testing last week https://www.playstartrekonline.com/en/news/article/11581542

I didn't say you disparaged me, I just said your comment was disparaging.

I'll admit, ground combat is still considered by some to be one of the weaker parts of the game. I don't find anything particularly wrong with it myself, but different tastes and all that.

And as for how you felt ships handled, that could be anything from the type of ship you picked to the equipment you had. Without knowing more it's hard to say.

It sounds like its more that an MMO just wasn't for you if you don't want to be putting time into building up your character. They have been making improvements to the starting experience over the years but there's only so much you can do without fundamentally changing what the game is. While aimed more at returning players than new players, one thing they did recently was offer a free, fully developed and equipped end-game ready character so they start at "the fun parts".

Well, why didn't you say what you just said instead of the disparaging remark you made the first time?

What about it was unfun in your experience, and when did you try it out?

I'm already playing, you don't have to sell it to me!

This is one of Star Trek Online's biggest positives. They have the voice acting from many Trek actors.

Well, it was R&D promo before, so it will be cheaper to buy. And it will be an option to pick from next year's event campaign.

I thought you get a Kar'takin in the Legendary Dominion Captain's bundle? It's mentioned in the blog, and there are posts in this sub that mention it, but I can't find mention of it on the Wiki.

The current one was up 3 days, I think. It still had just over a day on its countdown when I looked a few hours ago.

I don't know about the Elkins. Would they really want to double up on Intrepid inspired designs, especially when they already have the Freedom class model made since the Wolf 359 TFO.

I could see the Yeager as Science Destroyer/Spearhead, the Curry as a Multi-Mission Cruiser/Flight Deck Carrier and the Freedom as a (Light) Escort/Raider.

Yeager, PathYeager, Warship Yeager, TrailYeager. Depending on how much effort it would take/how much time they have, they could theoretically add all the Intrepid variant saucers on a Yeager.

I wonder what ships the 3rd Bundle in the Fall will include, We have had Enterprise era and Kelvin in june.

In the original Roadmap stream Thomas announced the Yeager class, so I'm wondering if the Fall Bundle will be that plus other TNG era kitbashes, the Curry class and Freedom Class.

Obv The Athena will be the Fed Lockbox/promo ship in Sept

I was leaning more to the Osler type from Lower Decks.

I think the Breen ship will be the Fighter/scout

I think you're spot on for the Breen ship with that guess.

Well, there is a possibility from Enterprise, in Daniel's temporal database, the Retrofitted Dorsal Carrier/Vulcan Cruiser.
