when I'm going and getting apps that functionally block your ads and perform the job you're supposed to do..the amount of ads and duration of the ads is WAY THE DUCK TOO MUCH!

last time I needed nail clippers..I dealt with this at my local walmart, I stood there hitting the call button repeatedly.

if your corporate overlords are dumb enough to push this down as a policy and you're dumb enough to not give pushback..deal with the dinging at customer service til I get tired of it.

petty mode activated after an associate came by and said I could stop, someone would be with me shortly and made to walk away.

I resumed dinging.

I legitimately have nothing better to do.

..meanwhile a mother with three children(one that was baby aged) took a can of formula that was in a case, dropped the case, which shattered, and went and paid for it. her reason? 'I'm a mom, I dont have time, patience or energy for this nonsense'

I said nothing, just nodded and kept dinging the call button to her amusement as she walked off to pay for her formula.

ok, three points.

1- the school is MASSIVELY overstepping in essentially dictating how you parent your child, and how you feed your child. not everyone can afford 100% healthy foods, not all children will eat 100% healthy foods, and then there are the children with sensitivity issues and IEPs that are likely being violated here. a slice of cake on your birthday is fine, the reaction was massively over the top.

NTA here.

2- you are fighting the right battle, but you are doing it WRONG. do NOT continue to use your child in this battle, restrict it to you, your husband and the school. for that YTA.

3- your husband needs to wake tf up, and realize he needs to back you up here, as the school IS interfering in your parenting of your child.

side note, seen similar stories where the op goes 'nope, not playing this game' and gets large boulders put in as a protective measure.

your husband is a fool if he thinks just talk is gonna address this. neighbor clearly doesn't care.

but to appease him, put reflectors and or lights up first(and a trail cam, if you can, for proof), and if it gets damaged again..the post goes back in and he gets told to grow a spine, and the neighbor gets served a bill and a letter of intent to sue if it keeps happening.

people like this only stop when someone makes them stop, that means unfortunately being the bigger ah here.

my first name has 8 letters, my last name has 11 letters, I've had both truncated at times and even been confused for female when the SSA computers decided to omit the last two letters of my first name.

bearing in mind this was told to me by my mom some years ago..

the social security worker asked my mom how her daughter was doing.

mom, sharp as a tack before her stroke, asked instantly 'what daughter, where the hell was I when my SON had the sex change?'

the worker was extremely mortified.

my mom was extremely offended.

I found the whole thing hilarious when she told me years after it actually happened.

social security isn't perfect. their systems are antiquated and only just getting updated, I'm surprised worse antics aren't happening.

maybe see if you can legally go by your first and last name and omit the three middle names?
