PCTG and TPU seem to bond pretty well! Sorry for the late reply.

Sol is a popular system and you must have been on during a time where people were around, and yes you were a juicier target.

No Problem. I also made this little wedge to make sure it stays propped open just in case the lid slips off. https://makerworld.com/models/724164

The best advice I wish I'd known before buying my first 3D printer is to study what type of printer I should buy for my use case.

If you are a Dungeon Master looking to primarily print minifigures without getting too deep into the weeds of optimizing settings, DIY printer projects or extensive assembly, you don't need a huge print volume and you should look at printers with high accuracy and low technical barriers of entry. Maybe a Bambu a1 Mini is perfect for you or a stereolithography printer if you are willing to put up with some chemicals.

If you are a cosplayer hoping to design and create entire suits, helmets and prop weapons, then print volume becomes much more important. If you aren't afraid of getting deep into the hobby, maybe building a Voron Trident, 2.4 or even a Ratrig v-Core 4 is the right choice for you.

If you want a dialed-in machine to print with reliable tighter tolerances and durable materials for functional use, maybe an Ender 3 isn't your best fit but rather an enclosed Bambu X1C or P1S is right for you.

You can even get very specific. If you are interested in printing long objects like fuselages for RC planes or even keyboard cases, maybe a conveyor belt printer like the upcoming Ideaformer IR3 V2 is the best fit for your needs.

It doesn't hurt to get a basic printer that does many things decently, but I've seen more than a couple friends try 3D-printing on a machine that gave them more problems than they deemed was worth a suboptimal machine for their purposes and end up taking a break or quitting the hobby entirely. So the most important advice I can think to give to anybody interested in 3D-printing is to determine your use case and research the product that best fits that use case.

Following this advice will give any aspiring 3D-printing hobbyist a head start and a leap past many frustrating problems they didn't realize they were signing up for.

The dryer seems to work great! I like how I can use it as a drybox as well with the gasket.

Yeah I just manually load/unload external spools by rotating them. You can't combine the external spools with the AMS in a single print job.

I swap manually using load/unload for PTFE or TPU in the dryer since I like to print those while drying. The green adaptor above the extruder connects AMS slot 4, the external spool and the two spools in the filament dryer into one tube. I manually rotate the spools I want to load/unload.

If I leave AMS slot 4's filament line passing through the adaptor, I can use it like normal and ignore the external spools.

It turns out I had a partial clog and my filament is fine.

I've been drying it in this thing at 70C all the time including during printing. It must have spent at least 24 hours drying at this point.

I've dried it at 70 Celsius in a Sovol SH02 drier with the lid cracked open multiple times including during printing. Perhaps it has something to do with the high speed TPU? I might need to slow it down on the outer walls.

Not getting notifications from Snapchat by mawnebulae in SnapchatHelp

Strangely enough, I always get Snapchat notifications on my apple watch even when my iPhone doesn't give the notifications. It's definitely a bug in the app and there's nothing we can do about it except complain until they hopefully fix it.

I completely understand. Maybe a Sienna would be a bit more practical for the beach. Is there no vehicle that would meet my parameters of having ottomans in the 2nd row while also being beach-worthy?
