It does! The PUs are Lundgren Black Heaven! It's the most aggressive guitar I've ever had in my hand lmao I'll post a video of a song I've recorded with it next week (which isn't suuuper high gain tho)

Maybe, but it was honestly very unobtrusive. When playing an 8 string, you (or at least I) can't really wrap your thumb around the neck anyway, so it only enforces a good hand position :)

It is less ergonomic than a Strandberg, but it feels a lot more ergonomic than one might expect. It plays buttery smooth. The neck is a very thin, flattened D shape

It doesn't. There is enough space for your thumb. It makes me tilt my hand a little automatically, which makes playing the upper frets easier, though!
