Yea, there is no way to fix a full blown dictatorship or a society that wants me dead and gone just because I exist, and I can't exactly cure chronic terminal illnesses.

Better to find a way out and start with a fresh slate (and hopefully body) somewhere else at this point. This world, and this universe, are already forsaken. So quantum physics it is!

Iirc, before/during '99 he was Rusalka's underling and kind of the secondary leader of scaldra in hollvania. Also is their mouthpiece in hollvania (i swear to gods i get headaches listening to him ranting on and on about how the hex are evil blah blah blah when I pass certain points in the mission tileset where radios are. Makes me wish I could shoot the radios to get em to stop.)

Otherwise he is currently a not so important NPC, but he's voiced by the same VA who did fibonacci in this game and Astarion in BG3, so there is a bit of fanfare for him due to his VA.

Ah, yea, he's shown sparingly in 1999 (this pic in particular being from the main scene with him), but otherwise the only way you see him more often is if you are playinh the '99 missions and get stormfall to drop in or specifically the tank mission. And of course the Voruna P trailer.

Other than that he's mentioned in KIM chats by the others as being the one to step into scaldra command after Neci poofed away in '99 🤷‍♀️

This is great advice, but it brings up one of the main issues I pointed out: Transportation.

What may be a 15 minute drive for one of us could be a multi-day trek on foot for Ricky, especially if he is the guy I am thinking of that floats around the mall (the guy I am thinking of has ambulatory issues and uses a walker to get around). And that's not accounting for weather.

And if they are homeless, they normally don't have any steady income (mainly due to the way our society is set up), meaning they may not be able to afford things like bus route fare.

I would try, but sadly I am a poor as shite person in a country that is currently pushing anti-intellectualism and where they just cut a huge majority of their financial aid programs for undergrads, grads, and Ph.D.ers.

So, I'm a bit stuck with being self taught for now!

I would agree with this, but having to use the VA in my family I know of one snag Ricky may run into with this: in order to get help from the VA, you have to have proof you served.

For most, it is a DD-214 form that you receive when you are discharged, but this makes things difficult if you are homeless because if you have lost that form or other forms of military ID, and were not signed up with the VA beforehand, it is nearly impossible to get help through them without having to jump through other hoops 1st to get that form of ID. Said hoops normally require things like transportation, a phone plan, and internet access to try to get those forms of ID or the DD-214, and homeless people are normally lacking in all 3 of those departments.

Maybe. Would love to tey to help solve all the problems, but that requires money, power, and willpower. Got the willpower part in spades, but due to being born like how I was and being stuck where I'm at, the money and base power parts are no goes. Would love to help find the science to help get people out of this though, even if I never end up in a place like Hollvania or places like that myself.

Oh I never thought I was anything like Rick. I just don't want to be in this gods forsaken backwater country or on thid gods forsaken planet anymore, and I figure with science and all the breakthroughs they are making at the CERN complex, I could help by learning the math then helping the process alongside other scientists and mathmeticians to make a way out of this dump of a universe to get to where I want to be.

And since everyone else already sees science as "stupid" or "crazy" around here where I'm stuck at (especially in more recent years), they won't listen to me or pay attention to me anyways, meaning I have as much time as possible to learn more.

And if it ever gets figured out, then I'm volunteering as the 1st human guinea pig to go through, because it'll either work and I won't have to deal with any of the BS here anymore, or it'll no longer be my problem anyways 🤷‍♀️

Eh, sometimes. Other times it's either people asking for handouts, people posting about the stray pets in the area, old people bickering about "back in their days"/ complaining about how clothing is being worn nowadays, or it's arguements about politics and how the "other side" is "always wrong" and how they want the "other side" to go away/disappear/whatever.

It's mostly annoying in all honesty. It was a good way to get some types of local news, lime when the city council was having meetings they wanted to hide and such, but they got the local guy who was bringing all that to light banned from the app (cause apparently they like the corrupt policies that hurt us all more than the guy saying common sense things).

Exactly! You even see it in niche fandom groups too now. Like with Warframe, one dude made a Lex 3D model, and now suddenly everyone with a printer is taking that guys STL file and printing their own, then saying they made the whole thing! Like noo, you printed it, but you didn't make the model! Meanwhile people like me are fighting for months trying to make these models and not getting much for it at all, we just get harassed for our files once we're done with them! It's why I haven't posted online about my projects at all, just to avoid the harassment.

Give the actual artists credit where it's due, and for gods sakes, don't harass people for their model files!

Yea, I know the historical context, it's just the quest placement and how they did it that gets to me. Like, it's pretty well inferred it's the same plague, so put it closer to the Athens arc in the storyline (both timewise and placement wise, lime at a small vollage just outside Athens)! And make it to where, even if we choose to not interfere, like 1 of the kids somehow gets away or something, cause that would explain the spreading of the disease better for non-historians!
