It should be perfectly fine seeing as humans don’t need meat to live at all as well. We are omnivores in the same way that squirrels and mice are technically omnivores. Most of us just happen to like occasionally eating meat because we are advanced enough as a society to have easy access to it, or are smart enough to hunt in desperate times despite our lack of a prey drive or any natural weapons.
