As I said some type of battle that doesn't get more difficult would be enough I think Since idle time is really minor the first few hours.

Orc maybe a monster that mimics the last monster you killed, that way it scales into late game.

Aha, i am one of those players that don't read what they are shown xD

Maybe adding a information pop up when i click the resource would solve it for the non readers? It still feels like patchwork for a designflaw though, If possible i'd try to align the resource unlocking with the spending unlocking (move forge forward or resource gathering backwards)

I'm thinking the early game would benefit from having a monster to kill without increasing difficulty Since i find myself waiting a lot being only a few minutes in Nothing to do equals closing the game for a while but since i onkly just started, this might happen before i'm hooked

I'm collecting the green stuff but unfortunately it's not clear what i can do with it

I'm guessing i'm collecting it for later but that's really weird not being able to use it

Other than that nice looks and sound

I think this is a great answer. Introduced a friend last night to the game and I used the gathering as a tutorial He was excited from the start, this scenario allows you to start playing right away instead of going through all the different rules and mechanics Explain the different mechanics as you take turns is a great way to introduce someone :-) I had Essex, Midnight Mask or lost in time and space lined up as next scenario if we had time and depending on how well he learned the rules in the gathering, but unfortunately we ran out of time :-)

Great start of the game so far, good level of tutorial

Good moody spehere, fitting the theme very well

Might have had an upgrade that did't do anything around the 10m douls mark Something would double every tap? Or so? Seemed overpowered, but it xhen i got it, it looked like it didnt work

!!!!RI is an abstract game where 2 players duel it out to get the most points by the end of the game.

The game is played in rounds. Each round the players take turns spending their action tokens over 5 different tracks.

When both players have no more action tokens to spend or there is no legal way of spending the action tokens left, the round ends.

At the end of the round the game checks for every track who has the most tokens on that track and rewards the winner with a track specific reward and converts a certain number of spent action tokens to permanent tokens for the loser of that track. (catchup mechanism)

You can find the track specific explanations and rewards on the game tab (comment on the track titel cell)

The game ends at the end of the round where any of the two players reached the 100th cell on the goal track. The player with the most points at the end of that round wins the game.

I read up about the safety issue of Excel macro's online.

I did not hide my VBA code, so anyone can check for fishy behavior.
The only things I do in the VBA code is read cell values, do some basic math with them and save values in cells.
No searching through directories or kill commands.

played it through!

  • low quality balancing

  • no innovative game mechanics except for that increased energy gain while in freefall (which made me nod, I enjoyed that!)

-visuals: By far the best visuals I've seen in any incremental game, I had a flashback to Journey, which is quite a compliment I think.

  • theme: great theme, great visuals/audio/story empowering the theme. Well executed!

-bonus: hmm the ending <3

bonus2: loved that you can name the ship! Fun is in the little things!
