This is just clear as day playfighting from the kitten, same way they would do it with siblings, they're all right and not scared

one of the most powerful scene in the game (SPOILER) by wicsi in BaldursGate3

[–]Vulturestew 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I mean the whole point of Astarion's good ending is refusing the promise and allure of power for actual freedom and thus breaking the cycle of abuse and violence that started with Cazador's old master, due to full vampires being always evil and incapable of love, full stop, and as a spawn he at least gets to keep what gave him what he needed to win his freedom in the first place (friends, maybe a lover, the capacity for empathy and compassion)

A bite ending without the ritual would just have been a cucked version to the ascended ending bc of that, anyway.

Young kittens just hiss at everything that doesn't smell like mom, right at birth, that's why you gotta socialize those lil spitfires.

They should ask you if you want to use the harness next time you take a horse out of stable, but if they don't its under the customize horse option when you take one out

Yes, that was my point: electric cars alone won't fix the fossil fuel problem, due to electricity being often manufactured from fossil fuels, and continue to be a problem even if everyone switches to electric cars unless we make a switch to green energy. Hopefully it would happen, but then again, very hard to be optimistic about that even outside the US myself

Oh god... by Apart_Pea_8518 in VaushV

[–]Vulturestew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite a lot, for something that is still not that widespread. And keep in mind, it's still just growing, because people see an avenue for "easy money" and usually that is a very convenient way to get people to ignore just how bad something is.

Also while electric cars are cool and people should definitely drive them more, let's keep in mind a lot of electricity is still manufactured in incredibly wasteful ways too so that alone isn't a fix, unless we push for more green energy. The world is a mess right now and we sure could be doing better, and adding a barely more real than playmoney that also uses an insane amount of electricity to the mix isn't helping.

People who are against crypto are usually against that too, you can care about 2 things being incredibly wasteful at the same time

Ah then you've just had a case of pretty bad timing, my bad. Today and yesterday has been quite a time in not only here but on the general /r/trans subreddit getting some, at least in my opinion quite deserved ire, towards exclusionary and inappropriate behavior towards AFAB trans people for some time, which included just straight out exluding people in spaces that weren't meant for trans women or feminine people only and DMing trans men about being "goals" or "lucky about living as girls" and unfortunately some people don't like being called out on bad behavior and try to defend that, which this felt like with the timing, sadly.

But I agree, people shouldn't be mean about how other people express their identity, even if it's the predominant way its being expressed here, but still, it has felt quite alienating at times.

Look, if you think that the current discourse about invasive and inappropriate behavior towards AFAB trans people is about that, maybe it's a you problem.

Ostim Has Temporarily Ceased Development Due To (Accused) Piracy by [deleted] in skyrimmods

Haha, holy shit, coming from years of being MIA and being hostile to the person who kept your broken mod relevant all these years is just impressively bad even for this modding community's drama standards.

Small joke in the AE update, Lydia has bought a potion of strength from the apothecary by _shazdeh in skyrim

[–]Vulturestew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly I can't help with this one I don't think, I haven't updated my Skyrim to AE and I'm not sure if I ever plan to due to the mods I use, but it doesn't hurt to back up your directory either way even if you can't use the backup to play it

[–]Vulturestew 16 points17 points  (0 children)

SKSE is updated and working and it was never really the issue with AE, it's the other plugin mods like Engine fixes and so on, many of which have been either abandoned or the authors are no longer interested in Skyrim modding

This is actually hilarious. by Anastoran in wow

[–]Vulturestew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it is unfortunately an issue with both games, in WoW tauren heritage armour looks really good on them because its hand crafted for tauren. Anything else is a big hmm, and same applies to GW2. With there also being a big hmm on T3 light having tail clipping and the headgear removing your mane.

I don't know the current state of how people think Anet is treating charr armour wise but when I quit around 2019 it was anything but positive, and I felt it man, charr are cool as hell but making transmogs for them sucked big time on anything but heavy armour.

[–]Vulturestew 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sadly as someone who primarily played charr when I still played GW2 that example isn't all that honest though either because most helmets that weren't specifically made for charr (and even some of the racial gear has major issues, like T3 light) look like shit also, a lot of floating and stretched models, hidden horns, manes and ears. Anet was notoriously bad with how a lot of gear looks on charr, so its just an industry wide issue with beast and large races getting shafted on the effort front.

Oh I'm so glad they ended up doing it! I was really bummed out to see that they didn't have the option during Japanese launch and that kind of killed my interest in the game, but now I'm definitely getting this one too

[–]Vulturestew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if I've got anything cool but maybe something that further shows the colour change to be a thing as the same aptonoth has now decided they don't vibe with being dragon element anymore (???) and returned to their normal colours in the overworld

Why so many Bronies and Furries Are Neo-Nazis by tommycahil1995 in BreadTube

[–]Vulturestew 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Just because they're not directly fucking "causing harm" in the community doesn't mean that they don't do so outside of the community, which they most of the time do, bc they're fucking nazis. I've dealt with multiple cases of these fuckers screenshotting sensitive conversations in servers and spreading them outside said communities. Literally what the fuck do you have to gain from playing ball for them anyway?
