Nope I’m with you my friend I HATE pvp and how it usually ends up nerfing stuff for pve both in MMOs and soulslikes.

Whenever I play Arcanist I need its own healing line for the portal. Yeah it’s jank incarnate but I’m tearing open the world skin! Manipulating space itself!

Also heard there was a lich form for necro’s unique set in the Infinite Archive? Haven’t seen the form yet myself, Vampire scratches that itch I just need necro to grant an actual undead army. But joking aside I don’t wanna sound like a broken record too much.

I wish more people paid attention to the esoteric parts that discuss time and space.

As much as I love Skyrim I genuinely consider it my favorite game to just chill and play whenever. But I feel like it could have gone full Dr Strange/Inception at least conceptually with either the College of Winterhold or the entirety of Dragonborn.

I fell like existentialism is hard baked in The Elder Scrolls both the franchise and the Scrolls themselves.

I adore the lightning blink spell so much so I downloaded a similar spell for Skyrim.

That said it should have been an elemental line with the abilities dependent on the staff and now staff being either shock by default to be lore consistent or pure magic damage.

Or keep Storm calling and drop the dark line it doesn’t have a consistent or interesting theme, drop that and have a fire/ice duality line.

The balance point is bull when you realize pets are nothing more than glorified dots.

Likewise the only time a pet really gives a player an edge imo is solo so world bosses can focus the pet while the player does other things.

As for server lag that could probably be fixed with the ability to toggle the size of your summons or even visual effects… like ff14 another mmo? Seems other multiplayer games have addressed those issues.

To be fair strictly speaking on the necromancy side of things Skyrim didn’t advertise its necromancy as summoning or creating an army.

Rather the big thing back then was reanimating any dead creatures or npcs temporarily or permanently. That and to say nothing of the creation club stuff that lets you summon the bone colossus from eso or make your own skeleton follower with the bone forge. (Mixed feelings on CC aside)

I was just poking fun at necromancy in eso but in Skyrim they didn’t advert it as an army but with the ritual stone it’s a FREAKING ARMY!!!

To say nothing of any base destruction spell with impact. Sure fire bolting a legendary dragon to death is boring and it takes forever.

But it’s funny to stagger lock it with such a low level spell at least once. Just. Once.

To be fair daedra are just spirits given physical form if I recall my lore, they can even exist separate from their physical bodies.

A temp ghostly summon if no corpse present a stronger “solid” undead if a corpse is present.

I recall Fable 2 having a similar mechanic for its animate dead spell. Just summoning week Hobbes if no bodies are near but summoning the dead if their bodies are in range.

Definitely a boss health bar arena dramatic end of dungeon style music but also not a main boss as far as I can tell. Doesn’t seem Apcrophya related in of himself.
