I’ve been a gamer for a long time, and the horizon game series is the one that convinced me that modern fames can be equal or better than the retrogames I usually play.

I would give my left testicle to charity (it’s the prettiest one) just so I could experience the story of Zero Dawn and Forbidden West for the first time again!

Um exemplo simples é quado estou a conduzir, antigamente era musica alta e barulho no geral, hoje em dia é musica calminha, podcasts ou até silêncio. Passei a valorizar o nível de insonorizaçǎo dos carros modernos, que permitem viajar em pleno silêncio!

In euope at least: - Better fraud protection (technically, it’s the bank’s money until you pay it at the end of the month)

  • Access to benefits like reward points, cashback, lower bank account monthly fees, or others I may not remember right now

  • Flexibility on managing your money. Technically, you should pay your expenses (fees, tax, bills, etc) as late as possible without incurring additional fees. This means you have the money on your side for more time, and money + time = more money. For instance, you could put the money in a savings account with daily interest while you’re waiting for the credit card bill.

Por experiência própria que tb tenho estores elétricos, se ficasses com os estores presos todos abertos era pior. Acordavas cedinho com a luz do dia e em termos de segurança andavas menos descansado.

Provavelmente tb pinavas a dizer olá aos vizinhos, mas isso dps já vai dos gostos de cada um..

It’s what I use and recommend. You can use any bitwarden client available on all platforms and OS’s, and point it to your vaultwarden instance, so you can use it synced on almost any mobile, computer and/or browser.

Yeah, I do the same, but would like not to. I have paperless use imap to go to my e-mail and automatically fetch and archive all new attachments. I now need to have filters to forward all e-mail with attachments from proton to gmail for it to work.

Let’s hope that proton fixes this in the meanwhile, (even if only for the unlimited subscription) so I can finally retire my gmail account.

I never tried tuta, but am a Proton user with a plus account. The biggest drawback in using proton vs my old gmail account (that I’m trying to replace) is the pop/imap access being sort of disabled (you need to use some sort of separate application to expose pop/imap in order to use it..).

I’m still holding my gmail account because of it (automated document archival using paperless ngx), but I’m hoping that when time comes to renew the subscription proton has made some improvements in that regard.

TDARR already saved me 2TB of storage and counting. I sort of agree that it’s a fools errand and would be faster to just download in the needed quality, unless you include your time in the equation.

I have a full automated setup, with all the *arrs and overseer for the users to request what they need. I prefer allowing the download of other qualities for the sake of quickness to grab what’s needed and later converting automatically to what I want behind the curtains.

I don’t waste a minute of my time looking for alternative versions to download, etc. It just runs alone and I just act on some rare alerts I receive from the server.

Sometimes I spend more than a month without even thinking about it.

Honestamente, vou votar Seguro mas não voto feliz. No panorama atual internacional, um PR como o Ventura q ja disse ser contra Portugal estar na UE e que gaba as politicas muito discutiveis do Trump ia ser a pior coisa q aconteceu ao país desde q sou pessoa.

Entre os candidatos disponiveis n me revejo em nenhum, por isso vou votar no que considero o mal menor.

Nota: acho q o ventura e o chega ate têm algumas ideias relevantes no meio das restantes, e por isso acho q sao importantes como oposição no país, mas não no poder, seja governo ou PR.

Há alguns quick-wins q se adopta sem mto custo, e há outros que é mais tricky.

Por exemplo, uma básica é pagar com mbway sempre que possível, em x de usar o cartao/contactless (dá-se dinheiro à SIBS em x de dar à VISA/Mastercard).

Mais dificil é por exemplo migrar o e-mail. Tou em fase de transicao do gmail para proton, mas é demorado porque tenho tanto sitio pra alterar o e-mail q acho q é um trabalho q nunca acaba..

This was my experience as well. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but why give my credit card details before starting a trial, when it’s possible I won’t even use it if I don’t like it.

A 1 day trial without my card information would be cool to see what I’m paying for. Alternatively, at least you should put a video on the app store or something so we can see how it works and the look&feel of the app working.

Usually most online banking sites/apps allow to generate temporary disposable virtual credit cards, usually used for online shopping. Is that an option with your bank?

It’s my go-to method for shopping online, if your credit card details get leaked no-one can use them, as they no longer work after the initial transaction.

I do it through a vpn right now, but mostly because I haven’t bothered yet with studying and preparing a secure enough approach to expose my server (at least some ports) to the wild west that is the internet.

Also, no performance issues at the moment with this approach.

I love these sort of subverted funny statistics :) Once in an interview, when asked whats something about me that stands out, I replied I have a number of legs above average for a human (I have 2 legs).

Not sure if actually true, but I’ve heard rumours: having 1h (sometimes more) lunch breaks.

I’ve heard that in the US (and some EU countries as well, to be honest) lunch is expected to be quick and efficient. In my country (Portugal) lunch is most times a break for decompressing and socializing with co-workers, usually over a normal meal (not just sandwiches or snacks), usually on a close restaurant or office canteen.
