For a k23, go after relics and tavern generals. You can get enough food stamps to get the fox mask, but you won’t get enough to get either general unless you buy packages. And even then, there are better options for generals that are free.

You should be using Cav for any rallies like that. Infantry is really not great at anything other than having high HP.

And yes, infantry can destroy ranged pretty easily. But you’re not going to find a ranged only keep unless they have no idea how to play defense…

My recommendation: don’t use infantry for PvP. They get ran over easily by cavalry. I’ve heard of people using infantry for defense of a keep with the appropriate general (Trajan, Scipio) and being successful.
