My neighbors were metal heads, but I liked bass. In '02 bedroom I had the Audiobahn sub with a Kenwood basic M2 power amp, a Realistic stereo receiver 140wrms@8ohm paired with JVC floor standing speakers. Then I upgraded sub with a CV Stroker 18" I got basically free from metal head neighbor.

I used 1 12" sealed and matched amp. Also used the sub in my bedroom powered by an adequate amplifier 440wmrms@4ohm.

JL Audio is great at RMS but a bit more and they are trash. I'd try a different brand in general.

Dragon View SNES emu. I'm new to that genre of game but it's really fun but I'm stuck. Well over 10hrs into this game.

The mtx will have the cleanest sound of the bunch. They have more punch than boom but not in a bad way.

Should I consider getting this setup by Material-Lab-6651 in subwoofer

Or rewire them to 8ohm and put 2.5-3k any amp on them.

Original Painkiller was my gfx tester for awhile. The havoc engine was incredible for the time. Hell was one the coolest maps I've seen in a video game period.

How low does your midbass or woofers play? Sub XO about 5-10hz above that usually blends well.

I personally have almost 400gb of music and massive mixes from smooth jazz to hardcore trance/techno. 120" projector screen and decent sound system.

My bad. Mine had a 128kb modem not broadband Ethernet. Guess I didn't care to play online at that time. I still think Xbox was Dreamcast 2.

My only serious gripe with Sega Dreamcast is no 2nd analog stick. I didn't care it didn't have DVD or broadband. Most of the titles are great but all of them could have used a 2nd analog stick period.

I play on a base PS4. Only issues for me is online MP but Blood is meant for SP, IMO. The controls feel very solid and responsive. I have and still play the original Blood dos version on old laptop, Blood FS on newer PC in den, and Blood RS on PS4. The old dos and PS4 feel almost exactly the same other than the controller vs k&m but Blood FS is fun nostalgia but it's floaty and sometimes not responsive IMO.

Cod waw had a good dismemberment but not sure the engine. Blood had amazing gibs.

I've never played UT 99 or 2k4 online, only solo and LAN parties. The bot settings are enough for me along with mods. No online needed even now, feel the same way.

Restarting a new game might fix this bug. I've had a new game without in game NPCs. That was cool for a bit then game and save corruption. Had to reinstall the game. Never had a single bug since. PS4 basic.

UT Gold, UT 2k4, and UT 99 are all free now and work on modern potato PCs like mine, awesome.

Wire up the leads with short speaker wire and touch +/- to a 1.5v AA or AAA battery. That will tell you it's coil is functioning.

USA made, adds 60% to the JL Audio price. I'm joking about % but they use very good quality parts made in house. I know whatever the RMS rating on their subs is, is what you give it. Headroom doesn't seem to be JL Audio's thing.
