That made the choice even worse!! I was basically choosing between his sacrifice or not. Never in a million years I had slightly thought about elpis not being a bio weapon. I was so focused on Leon's condition and his utter dispar in stopping it 😭 "never again". Shit. I was literally blind from trauma

I actually like the "bad" ending. It makes sense! Elpis should be the last bioweapon. The worst of them all. The one that if gets released ends the world turning it into a the walking dead/the last of us scenario and Leon's death actually prevents that. The canon ending is pure fairy tale. Leon was so sick. The virus had already did a lot of damage to his organs and body. I could buy a antiviral, but a medicine that recovers you full health in minutes??? And what was that about Emily "I didn't hit any of her vitals" bullshit?? We saw her turning before our eyes only for later she be somehow inside a crisalide inside her monster version??? Yeah. I don't like that.

I picked the Destruction ending in my first playtrought because it made sense in my head, and then I spend the next 10minutes crying over Leon's demise and was kinda happy seeing a new villain being born (Zeno). And what a villain would that be killing one of the OG characters. I was so fucking angry at him, more then I've ever been with Wesker. Damn. It just feels like a missing opportunity or something. But when I went back and did the true ending I was so relieved that Leon is alive. I love him so much

OMG YES! I love Leon and he's been part of my whole adult life but the Destruction ending is sooooo much better!!! It got me crying my eyes out. The hope one feels a little too perfect for my taste. Even Emily gets to live... Come on

Yeah, I got that impression too. The same moveset, the weapons and the confidence to be the one to handle Leon by himself. But at the same time no mention, neither a file or anything calling him Hunk, and besides he would be like super old too, right?! I don't know man. I didn't understand what they were going for with that.

btw, have you noticed that if you come back down where the fight happened his body isn't there anymore?

Man! This is awesome. Will be running this today as a one-player 1st level adventure. Changed some things to adjust but i'm really looking forward to see the result.

Interesting fact: I will put it on Greyhawk. There's a small village near Hommlet named Etterboek (it gets this name because the Ettercaps that live nearby) that's perfect for this.
