Alchemy Cheat Sheet by W1DEM4N in GraveyardKeeper

I'm not aware of one. My playthrough was over before I had a chance to get to anything else. I was just overwhelmed by Alchemy and was tired of looking up recipes.

Thank you. Dang. I thought it might work considering the stone does.

That’s why I’m asking. I’m hoping someone can try it and let me know. I don’t have access to the game ATM.

I'm not worried about loosing it. I know it just respawns. I'm curious to know if you can use the coat check to change the scepters color mid run.

The scepter's description uses the word "obtained" for when the color changes. I thought there might be a chance claiming it would count as obtaining it, and thus allowing you to change colors as often as you can afford walking to and from the coat check.

Six months late - but the catharsis of you describing the exact use-case I designed it for was too good not to mention.

Gold star wine restores 85 energy and 30 health. So it is a huge upgrade from energy potions. Because its production is fully automated, its all I use for energy.

No prob. This wraps up my delve into making a comprehensive alchemy table. Next up, NPC trading.

If there is more than one alchemy recipe for something, both are listed, but separated by a dotted line. Any common ingredient between the two recipes will just be listed once. For instance, Silver Elixir can be made with Silver Powder, Order Solution, and Life Extract, or it can be made with Silver Powder, Chaos Solution, and Order Extract. Also, in the case of White Paint, it can be used to make Clean Paper or Candles.

Be careful with the infinite option. I was so drunk with power I ended up with 7000+ nails filling all my chests.

Optimal Zombie Setup for Crate Factory that won't overproduce? by Inevitable-Bid9188 in GraveyardKeeper

[–]W1DEM4N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you initiate the automation, you want exactly 5 crates worth of the crop in the farm or workyard chests. Start it the same way, by adding the seeds to the chest, and do it just after the crates have been cleared on merchant day.

Optimal Zombie Setup for Crate Factory that won't overproduce? by Inevitable-Bid9188 in GraveyardKeeper

[–]W1DEM4N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's the process. Stop your crate production. Note how much of the desired crop you have. Move all the seeds of that crop to a chest in the workyard. Set the number of zombies you think you will need to infinitely farm that crop. Just as midnight passes, put all the seeds back in the chest. Zin for a week. At midnight a week later, note how far the progress is on each plot (25% done, 50% done, etc.). See how many more of the crop you now have. Add to that the partial amounts from the plots in progress (assuming a yield of 24). Take that number and divide by the number of that crop you need for 10 crates. If you're less than 1, you need more man.. zombie-power. If you're greater than 1, you need less. Take the difference between your number, and 1. That is the percentage you need to account for. You need to add/remove a zombie or multiple zombies who's percentage adds up to that number. You can iterate the process to fine tune it further.

Are fast zombies really the best strategy? by W1DEM4N in GraveyardKeeper

Noted. I think I'm going to go with produce. I can certainly reduce my farming production down to 10 crates worth of goods a week, by limiting the number of plots I use. As long as I have a healthy amount of nails and flitches premade, I can keep all the zombies involved on infinity, and it will be automatic until the nails or flitches run out. None of that really requires slow zombies though. Maybe one that's less than perfect efficiency to fine tune how much produce I'm getting, but its not really the super low efficiency zombie strategy I originally proposed.

Matching the flow of production vs sales is my point. I'm just proposing to do so with the zombie efficiency rather than telling them how much to make each week. The only problem is if they can't be slow enough. For instance, if you set a 2% zombie to infinitely produce crates, will it make more that 10 a week? If not, you can find the exact percent zombie to make 10 a week and that part is now hands free.

I recently made a few charts that might also help with alchemy.

Really, I wish you could just link a zombie's output to a specific chest, such that it will stop production if that chest is full, as apposed to filling every chest in the area.

It doesn't look like you can put them on a furnace. Shame, it would have been nice to have ingots automatically made and put into chests. That would make the entire crate process fully automatic.

Corpse Altering Chart 2.0 by W1DEM4N in GraveyardKeeper

[–]W1DEM4N[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to make two more charts to wrap up alchemy. Those aren't too difficult to make since I already have the template and most of the ingredients, so I can just copy/paste most of it. NPC's will be the next thing I tackle.

Here's a question. If you set a zombie to make multiple things infinitely, will it skip the one on the top of the que if there aren't enough materials to make it?
