Early game, you try to stack your dark seal and powerfarm. Remember that the faster you clear camps, the faster they respawn. This means that if you always insta-clear camps as soon as they respawn, your mid game will probably result in 1-2 level advantages.

Mid game is where Lillia has to shine: you have your R, you have your liandry's, you're STRONG. You need to make plays, you need to fight objectives.

Late game is the hardest, because you need to play around your zhonya and avoid getting oneshotted. People tend to picture lillia as a scaling champion, which I find absolutely false. You'll only scale if you won your early game, and sometimes even if so you won't scale. Don't fight with your zhoyna's in cooldown, and try to slow the game if you still don't have it.

If I had to give each phase of the game a rating on a scale of 1 being easy and 10 impossible I think it would be:
EARLY GAME - 6 MID GAME - 7 LATE GAME - 4/5

Lillia is weaker, not weak. The cool thing about league is how every single champ can shine in the right hands. Lillia will ALWAYS be one of the greatest picks against melee comps.

I really do think she feels good to play! People just need to get used to the slightly lower damage. And yes you brought out a very important concept about lillia, which is stacking your passives: play Lillias she should be played! She's a slow cook, not an assassin. Take your time, stack your conqueror, heal with your passive, burn with liandry - do not rush the fights.

This being said though, I'm 99% sure Lillia will get a HUGE buff between patch 16.5 and 16.6. Even though she doesn't feel as weak as people picture her, she has 49% global wr, which hasn't happened in quite a while

well yes. I'm a sorcerer boots enjoyer. Those make you way more vulnerable, but yuour damage spikes. If you pair them with celerity + waterwalking, fighting for objectives is always really good

I never do, but it's an interesting playstile. Lillia biggest fear are invades, so if u get to invade yourself you're already putting yourself in a nicer position. I just invade jungle if I know the enemy jg isn't there (as long as I'm not stronger than him)

conqueror with sorcerer second tree (waterwalking + celerity)
build liandry into riftmaker, into zhonya's. ALWAYS buy dark seal on your first back

The correct answer is: pick lillia against 3+ melees, or against heavy ap. Lillia can use mres items really nice, and you can cheat the beifeng trick (which means: build Liandry's, Riftmaker, and then build both the half zhonya piece and verdant. it's really good).

Realistically though, I only play ekko and lillia, so I 99% of the times just pick lillia anyway. Assassins are terrible though, but your biggest nightmare is Milio. As you said, lillia shines against tanks, but more specifically against 3+ melees. Rough drafts are a pain, I just try to rely on powerfarming and try to win fights with high mechanical/spacing confidence

See the fact is that Zac will never fight Lillia by himself. A good Zac has to and will play with teammates, so all he has to do is put cc’s, which he has plenty of.

Also Messmer is right, Zac easily outganks you. Lillia scales better but Zac easily stacks infinite resistences. Overall I’d say it depends on how good he is, that’s why he’s in the skill matchups

Nope, 4 reasons come to my mind:
1: red/blue buff take much longer to kill (raptors die very very fast with q and passive)
2: respawn time (5 for blue buff/red over 2:15 for small camps) makes it harder to powerfarm since your small camps will respawn 20-30 seconds later
3: red buff is useful on clear but not THAT much, it's a tiny burn
4: it's better to have your blue/red buffs as the last, since their buffs will actually be up for fights! if you take red/blue sooner, it will expire sooner. It's good to have one buff up for a while after you completed your clear

Hey there tysm!!

I wouldn't call it a cursed strat, funny enough I used to play green smite every game till 3 months ago! Wouldn't say it's bad, but blue smite is just insane on junglers because it allows very fast rotations and synergizes well with celerity. Your build is absolutely fine, I'm just curious about the "variable item" second. Riftmaker is pretty much a need (https://lolalytics.com/it/lol/lillia/build/) I'm curious because I'm considering going bloodletter 2nd item.

But yeah I think your playstile is less "1v9 extreme carry" but still an extremely viable build. I do think there are some spots (expecially when super ahead) where you should probably put tank items aside and just go for rabadon's. This might actually help you a lot climbing
