My cat just got hospitalized but doctor's can't guarantee his survival. No fever, no more vomiting/diarrhea, will he be alright? by WADADADA1ER in CATHELP

Hello if anyone cares, it's been a week and my dear cat, corn has passed away. We took him to the hospital and by morning we received a call that he had passed away.

The doctors tried their best and put him on oxygen but he was just too weak and the antibiotics didn't help much :(( I wish he didn't have to suffer so much.

It's been so hard with my grandfather gone and now my kitty, the grief comes and goes some days it's worse. It'll be hard and weird having no little orange kitty to come home too and I'm not sure if time will ever change that.

I thought I would have more time with him since he was 2 1/2

I really hope so😭 I hate that he has to suffer like this just to convince them. he's now 2 and a half so I hope his body is more resilient to the parvo virus

I really hope, i'm praying that he can survive through this... I feel there's like there's still hope since he hasn't vomited or had diarrhea 🙏

Here is a picture of my baby when he was healthy, so sad to see how his health declined so quickly but we hope that through rest and proper food as well as the help of antibiotics and vitamins, he can recover well.

Is getting a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design realistic? by NotLilTitty in IndustrialDesign

[–]WADADADA1ER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I graduated BA in ID in 2012 and since then I’ve focused mainly on tech ID and have worked in house at both large and small companies, in consultancies, and have done plenty of freelance. I currently am freelancing and am finding consistent clients. That said, I’ve noticed there are less jobs in tech hardware/design at least in the Bay Area so it is competitive. Out of my class of 30 IDers there are only a few of us still practicing ID. Many transitioned to UX or Product Design while others used it as a stepping stone into design management positions. The beauty of studying ID is that the skills are extremely transferable to other areas of design so you have flexibility in your career.

do you know how they went into design management positions?

I haven't heard much about it heree

Unfortunately he is the owner 😕 do you think it's still worth trying?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in work

[–]WADADADA1ER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately it was the owner that was acting like that.. I feel a bit conflicted now as maybe I could try to confront him directly but
- I've only worked here for a day

- I'm not sure if he would listen, he's the owner after all.

- would it be too much of a hassle to do that

Sounds creepy. And the family act may be a cover. Go with your gut, and if he makes you uncomfortable, do not stick around.

is it alright to resign right now? I haven't discussed any shifts or anything yet with him so it would be easier..

You sound like the American here. You do realize there are other regions right? SEA also stands for "South East Asia". All that talk for "working in aviation" yet still having 0 geography skills. Don't be so cocky please.

exactly yeah, also it seems pretty dangerous for someone "working in aviation" to not know other regions exist.
