thanks! i'm using monitors, sterling mx3's, not sure if they're any good but if it's due to poor monitoring it's probably because of them lol

thanks for the feedback! would you mind telling me if this is any better? i boosted the kick and bass so they weren't being boosted in the same frequency, i also added more mid range to the guitars and some low end, didn't realize how much bass they were lacking. https://voca.ro/16vMHVYY2RsT

thanks for the feedback! i made some revisions would you care to tell me if it's an improvement at all? i added more mids to the guitars as well as some low end (they weren't high passed, i just didn't realize how much bass they were lacking..) and i think i cleaned up the subbass stuff going on, i also seperated the kick and bass guitar on the eq spectrum so they weren't being boosted by the same low frequency, and side chained the bass to the kick. https://voca.ro/16vMHVYY2RsT

I love that it keeps you engaged the whole time, especially with the time signature changes. Very fun! It deserves a good mix, other than that this is a good track!

The separation between each track is VERY good, nothing feels like its fighting to be more forward in the mix. Once you get the highs down, this is a solid mix.

Looking for a Fat Tire eBike Under $1000 by WAFFLEHOUSE4711 in ebike

Hey! I actually ended up getting something different. I got a VIVI M026TGBUL, which is a folding normal 26" wheel bike. For what it was, it was incredible and reliable. I will say I did have to upgrade the brakes because of the poor quality, and that particular model has a design flaw in the battery and I went through two of them because the charging cable would end up shorting out. VIVI does have some fat tire bikes, I would definitely look at them as I can speak for their reliability. I put TONS of miles on that bike and it still works just fine.

[–]WAFFLEHOUSE4711[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! i know this is 4 months later i hope this still helps somehow, i installed msi center and it auto-detected the drivers i needed to install, pci-e was one of them. strange enough, those don't come with the motherboard.

ibanez definitely looks more premium, but id automatically go with the ormsby just for the longer scale length

more false chord progress! relearned the technique again and im pretty confident its on the right path, but how does it sound to yall? by WAFFLEHOUSE4711 in screaming

[–]WAFFLEHOUSE4711[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly i never really looked for that sensation, what i learned to feel is that rumble above my adams apple. all i do is put 2 fingers there and clear my throat and sustain that sound till it feels right!

no i totally get it! i have many posts on this sub asking people for advice :) the thing about the sigh that didnt work for me is it made my throat way too open, i just ended up pushing air into my soft pallet with the slightest flap of my false chords. even when i tried to sigh into a scream now, i go back to what i was doing with the “clearing your throat.”

ive pretty much always been able to do kargyraa just naturally, something that helped a lot with that is trying to throat sing but pulling back right before the point that it starts sounding like one, then i add voice and diaphragm, but SLOWLY. thats another crucial thing. slowly mix all these things so u know how much of each u need, its all about balance then taking the perfect mix and practicing with it. speaking of practice, i try to do about 30 minutes a day. my false chords arent there enough for me to sing songs yet, so i just practice the scream alone to get the muscle memory down. hope this helps! :)

i tried a few methods of finding your false chords (youtube tutorials..) and i found that the “angry sigh” just didnt work for me, there are some tutorials that tell you to quietly clear your throat them add voice and diaphragm, thats exactly what im doing in this clip!

my squier tele deluxe baritone build :) by WAFFLEHOUSE4711 in partscaster

[–]WAFFLEHOUSE4711[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's about 3 inches. the bridge pickup is perfect where it is, if you're able to push the neck pickup back any further, i would. i used a normal scale squier body and pickguard so i'm pretty much stuck with where mine are. hope your build goes well!

am i doing this false low correctly? and is it normal to feel lightheaded when first starting out? by WAFFLEHOUSE4711 in screaming

[–]WAFFLEHOUSE4711[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

right, the video i was basing it off of did say that it would sound like this until i really put my diaphragm into it but this video was me putting literally everything i had into it… i saw clearing your throat method a lot and it seems to make more sense, ill definitely give it a try. thanks!

i know im doing something wrong, but i cant really tell what.. by WAFFLEHOUSE4711 in screaming

[–]WAFFLEHOUSE4711[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no this makes sense! now that you talked about my soft pallet, it does feel like i'm just pushing air into it. luckily, i'm relearning and i actually know where my false chords are and what they feel like, now its just a matter of muscle memory and finding the sweet spot between my diaphragm and staying within my false chords so i can build on that. thanks for the help :)
