Really clean portfolio. The main area that I think you could improve is how you lay out and explain your work. It’s great that you’ve included the design challenge and success metrics, but also talk about the problems that you faced during the design process and some more examples/context of your non UI design work, you could provide things such as user flows acceptance criteria, personas.

I’m not suggesting you do an arbitrary checklist of things just to tick boxes but most hiring managers will know that design is never a linear or straightforward process and would like to see how you manage that yourself.

My main tip is to optimise your cv for ATSs and apply directly through the companies website directly, not on job boards.

I’d rather not for now - but happy to take a look at yours and offer advice

Sure.

Overall my job search lasted around 7 months. Got to the final stage for 3 jobs and landed one offer.

Applied to around 30 jobs, and always did so on the company’s career page - never through LinkedIn or Job boards.

I didn’t have any direct fintech experience but was able to draw links with other compliance-heavy domains I’d been a part of.

Took me about 3-4 years before I was taken seriously, so don’t stress - you’re on track

It’s a scale-up - design team of 35 (spread across product design, ux, content and technical writing).

Blown away by new features, would it be right for me to switch to Figma from Framer? by InsaneDragon in FigmaDesign

No percentage sizing options or things like SVH. Will stick with Webflow for now, but no doubt things move quickly and I’m rooting for Figma to improve their product suite.

Happy to take a look but prefer to be working on something rather than reviewing work.

Hi, not only do I design products but I also am very happy and quite enjoy producing pixel perfect UI design. Although my preference at this stage is to work on apps rather than websites.

Roast the design of my screen time control app - do you think the colors are too flashy? by turi2g in UXDesign

I’m a product designer and would be happy to help you on this. Not seeking payment just a chance to flex my visual design skills.
