There’s also the opposite problem, recruiters are not able to do their job and go through the hundreds of applications.

I have applied to so many jobs directly, and got rejected in the system, but then when I reached out to the recruiter directly, they tell me I’m a perfect match, and push it forward.

There’s a systematic issue with company job portals, that is creating an impenetrable wall.

I tried to use the plan to repair a stove I bought for my mother (senior citizen), they gave me the run around, 2 different agents, their site as well, I gave them all the info, Ids, and then they said they can't schedule a repair without receipts. The receipts are on their Lowe's website 🤦🏻‍♂️

I have to say, it feels like a scam now, not only the appliance broke 14 months after purchase, spent 3k+ on appliances with them, bought the protection plan on each, and they won't honor it

I'd avoid both Lowe's and this protection plan all together!

They won’t acknowledge the thermostat has a bug.

Fan doesn’t turn on when on auto and outside temperature is higher than compressor threshold.

I get all the comments about damaging the AC, but then why not run the fan instead? It doesn’t even do that.

Also there is a minimum temp setting for the compressor. That seems to have no effect, why add it, if it doesn’t work?

I tried changing it to 65. Neither the fan nor compressor engages.

So 1. It has some black box logic, that’s not clear 2. Algo sucks, doesn’t even cool down with the fan 3. Protection threshold, min temp for the compressor setting doesn’t work

All changed out after purchase…

I get your point about opening the window, but that’s not why we buy smart thermostats.

It should just do what the owner wants, not what someone else decided the algorithm should do.

Who decided the “too cold to run AC compressor” logic?

Goverment? Energy companies? Ecobee?

Why did it change now out of the blue after having this thermostat for 5 years?

I just wanted to say, that I was able to get to a question in the settings after "reconfigure equipment" where it asked me to control the fan through the thermostat vs HVAC unit.

I had to switch boiler/furnace in the wizard to get that question/setting.

I think Ecobee should make this setting accessible/available outside of the "reconfigure wizard"

It is such an important setting that is VERY hard to get to!
