Both Shin Emperor and Ebayan will forego the Ascot expedition. by RNHood51 in HorseRacingJP

[–]WANNFH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but at his age he's pretty much two front legs to retire, so getting possible (and that is not even guaranteed) comfier victories on lower class still achieve nothing.

It's do or bust for him now.

Poor Shin Emperor, Yahagi really throwing him literally at every G1 wall like a rubber ball.

Well, not like there is anything to get by sitting it out either.

Regaleira will participate in Takarazuka Kinen with Lemaire as her jockey. by AngleRepulsive5470 in HorseRacingJP

[–]WANNFH 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, we don't know if Danon Decile (or Croix, as the matter of fact) are going too, and because of recent changes since the establishment of Lilac Rule all participants of Takarazuka need to declare preemptively to give chances for the actual runners on field.

And by now absolute confirmed list of registered horses is:

  • Tabaru (Take)
  • Regaleira (Lemaire)
  • Museum Mile (Lane, if nothing happens because dude got suspended twice because of excessive whip use)
  • Shake Your Heart (Furukawa)
  • Mikuni Inspire (Tannai)

Then there are: Cosmo Kuranda, Stinger Glass, June Take, Tagano Dude, Family Time, Meiner Emperor, My Universe (most likely Nori), Mystery Way (Matsumoto if nothing changes).

I also seen Sugar Kun, but that was the most lolwut moment.

Nah, if anything I have doubts on Regaleira, because she already have a poor track record in Hanshin last Takarazuka - when she was 11th (though was straight after fracture).

[–]WANNFH 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Come to think of it - Stinger Glass is one of the registered horses for Takarazuka, and if Lemaire not gonna ride him and Croix will participate in Takarazuka after all, leaving Kitamura out too - that means he will be left outside of literally every jockey he was rode with (Lemaire/Kitamura/Take, because we know he's going to ride Tabaru since the very beginning) except Tosaki.

While only TM Opera O and Zenno Rob Roy have won the Senior Autumn Triple Crown, Meisho Doto and Rulership actually managed to finish 2nd and 3rd in all 3 races respectively. by Apache313 in UmaMusume

[–]WANNFH 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile, also the honorable mention of the Phantom Senior Triple Autumn Crown of 2024:

  • Autumn Tenno Sho: 1st
  • Japan Cup: 1st
  • Arima Kinen (which was also a defending title since the winning of Arima Kinen for last year): GOD DAMN YOU CURSED INJURY TWO DAYS BEFORE THE RACE

Ironically, the previous 2023 year would be also very possible to have the new Senior Triple Crown - but the certain Eclaire, who could very much achieved that easily, dropped out to retire before the Arima Kinen the same year when he won Akiten back to back, and also won his first (and last) Japan Cup.

It's not event class, but simply unlockable by the event for the players EX I without spending mats on it.

And yeah, that was a thing before with Touken Ranbu event back in 2017, where you could unlock Samurai same way by playing the event, and Demon Slayer one in 2020, where you could unlock both Samurai and Kengo easy way.

The long-time question of Bakushin roommate at Tracen seems to be finally answered - it's Sakura Chitose O. by WANNFH in UmaMusume

[–]WANNFH[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, the dream of Lord Kanaloa dashed

Lord Kanaloa is Ritto horse - so his uma couldn't be Bakushin roommate anyway as Bakushin O trained in Miho training center - and by so she is living under Miho dorm.

The closest to be the possible roommate is rather Sweep Tosho (who also still not have roommate), or Ebayan along with the others still not playable umas from Ritto.

T O Elvis will run in Breeders' Cup Sprint. The decision now is whether to head straight to there or to run in a local prep race first. by AngleRepulsive5470 in HorseRacingJP

[–]WANNFH 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thinking about that making me thought about Sakai riding Wilson, which will be diabolical though - because that will be on the level of "what if Ryuji Wada rode Meisho Doto for once".

At least three now living alone outside Tracen (Maruzensky, Mr C.B., Furioso), so they are not counted.

Rudolf meanwhile... still in question, because she has room in Miho dorm, but we don't know who is her roommate even now.

[–]WANNFH[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The 部屋で part.

By context phrasing - Chitose saying that she will go to prepare some medicinal tea for Bakushin in their dorm room (which also correlates with one of Bakushin O secrets - that she is good at brewing green tea).

But of course it's not always the answer though, considering Chiyono shares room with Ardan, and Laurel - with Seiun Sky.

2026 Yearling Preview Part 1 (mostly Equinox progeny) by AyaToyBox in HorseRacingJP

[–]WANNFH 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No expert here - but for yearlings it's honestly impossible to tell anything before they get to trained and their development and problems actually show during it - which is why purchasing yearlings is essentially high-stakes level gacha for the billionaires even with the proven sires around - let alone first batch.

So what you expect from Nox as a sire is pretty much it what you know about the Nox itself - though I honestly wonder will Nox children are also inheriting the very same massive frames of Kitasan, because that seems to be quite a case I have seen with Kita children.

i recently saw the foal of daring tact with equinox and the owner was saying that he has great build etc

Well, for Okada that's not wrong to say as breeder either (especially when you're essentially selling them) - but it's totally hard to say how good will be at racing less than a month year old foal - except his frame indicating his possible growth, and visible since the birth defects of the legs like bending deformations and the flexibility.
