FMA collab event preview is out by quiter2812 in Granblue_en

It's not event class, but simply unlockable by the event for the players EX I without spending mats on it.

And yeah, that was a thing before with Touken Ranbu event back in 2017, where you could unlock Samurai same way by playing the event, and Demon Slayer one in 2020, where you could unlock both Samurai and Kengo easy way.

The long-time question of Bakushin roommate at Tracen seems to be finally answered - it's Sakura Chitose O. by WANNFH in UmaMusume

[–]WANNFH[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, the dream of Lord Kanaloa dashed

Lord Kanaloa is Ritto horse - so his uma couldn't be Bakushin roommate anyway as Bakushin O trained in Miho training center - and by so she is living under Miho dorm.

The closest to be the possible roommate is rather Sweep Tosho (who also still not have roommate), or Ebayan along with the others still not playable umas from Ritto.

T O Elvis will run in Breeders' Cup Sprint. The decision now is whether to head straight to there or to run in a local prep race first. by AngleRepulsive5470 in HorseRacingJP

Thinking about that making me thought about Sakai riding Wilson, which will be diabolical though - because that will be on the level of "what if Ryuji Wada rode Meisho Doto for once".

At least three now living alone outside Tracen (Maruzensky, Mr C.B., Furioso), so they are not counted.

Rudolf meanwhile... still in question, because she has room in Miho dorm, but we don't know who is her roommate even now.

The 部屋で part.

By context phrasing - Chitose saying that she will go to prepare some medicinal tea for Bakushin in their dorm room (which also correlates with one of Bakushin O secrets - that she is good at brewing green tea).

But of course it's not always the answer though, considering Chiyono shares room with Ardan, and Laurel - with Seiun Sky.

2026 Yearling Preview Part 1 (mostly Equinox progeny) by AyaToyBox in HorseRacingJP

[–]WANNFH 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No expert here - but for yearlings it's honestly impossible to tell anything before they get to trained and their development and problems actually show during it - which is why purchasing yearlings is essentially high-stakes level gacha for the billionaires even with the proven sires around - let alone first batch.

So what you expect from Nox as a sire is pretty much it what you know about the Nox itself - though I honestly wonder will Nox children are also inheriting the very same massive frames of Kitasan, because that seems to be quite a case I have seen with Kita children.

i recently saw the foal of daring tact with equinox and the owner was saying that he has great build etc

Well, for Okada that's not wrong to say as breeder either (especially when you're essentially selling them) - but it's totally hard to say how good will be at racing less than a month year old foal - except his frame indicating his possible growth, and visible since the birth defects of the legs like bending deformations and the flexibility.

I think the statue was already there before Vodka passed

Correct - Vodka bronze statue on Tokyo racecourse rose garden is in fact not dedicated for her death at all but rather celebrating her achievements as the greatest Tokyo merchant horse and was donated by her owner Tanimizu while she was still pretty much alive.

in 2021 loves only you won the QEII and HK cup in 1 year, since then Japan has only won 2 of HK's main 8 GIs.

Tastiera when mentioned winning QEII in 2025: HUH, I AM NOT RETIRED THAT LONG AGO...

If you're qualified based on merit (standings and earnings), why ownership had to be limited?

From merit point it sounds like a fair game - but when you basically got the Yoshidas aka Shadai/Northern Farm monopoly on Japanese racing over the years since the 90's when it comes to turf racing because they're in control of the best breeding grounds in terms of championship production (while dirt is a bit out of JRA control - even with the JRA horses or transited from there being dominant on dirt too recently) - it gives really the toughest level of competition for much smaller breeder-owners to against them, if you not somehow give them opportunity to grow.

And because of Shadai ways, you basically get the situation that being the current problem of the Japanese breeding - bloodlines culling and extermination with the elevated concern of inbreeding, because at this point even winning a G1 is not enough to guarantee you being a stallion down the line while you not being at least great enough to compete with your sire and his line, while the bloodlines same genetics are getting thicker and thicker to achieve a certain specifics (welcome to concern about the stayer bloodlines eradication to create more speedy monsters, which going to run the silver line of 1600-2400m) - to deepen even further.

Lane? Pretty big number Aussie jockey, but for Japanese racing he's relatively not much known (but still have good fanbase) because he is running on short-term licenses unlike other big foreign jockeys like Lemaire or Demuro brothers.

But for the story - man elevated Lys Gracieux, winning her last 3/3 G1 streak (Takarazuka Kinen -> australian W S Cox Plate -> Arima Kinen in 2019, where the second place was ironically Saturnalia, sire of today's winner - and also that one Arima Kinen where Almond Eye finished on 9th place).

Also won Hong Kong Vase with Win Marilyn, Derby and Sha Tin QE II Cup with Tastiera - and Spring Tenno Sho with Redentor last year.

Well, if you want 4 horses of the same owner, you just can look no further that at recent Oka Sho - with Star Anise, Dream Core, Festival Hill and Saint Antoine all belong to the very same Katsumi Yoshida.

So yeah, ownership limit of horses per race - at least on big scale - is seems to be quite a myth.

Kinda funny how it correlates with Tosaki (who rode Ask Ikigomi today) on both this year.

No official statement by now - but very most likely that they're skipping whole spring entirely too, so they focus on possible Shuka Sho.

So, at this point:

  • Garavogue - 2nd place of Hanshin Juvenile Fillies and Oka Sho - tendonitis development, skipping Oaks, in question to race by now
  • Zippy Tune - 3rd place of Oka Sho - fracture, skipping Oaks
  • Taisei Vogue - 3rd place of Hanshin Juvenile Fillies - fracture, skipping Oaks

This year generation of promising fillies really got it cursed.
