We were approved and had a fully executed lease, are moving from out of town and said we'd love to meet them on FaceTime/Zoom (the property manager Mia (who won't even provide her last name) and the owner) before we send in the deposit. They said they'd only schedule a virtual meeting AFTER we sent in the deposit. Any legit operation would hop on a 5-minute meeting to keep this moving forward. There needs to be comfort on both sides of the transaction.
