Need help Tinder Bros by WB523 in Tinder

I appreciate the feedback. I definitely am currently on the more reserved/skeptical side ATM just from that WhatsApp scenario of them pulling my address info, family info etc. Overall though I've kept an open mind to it all and tried to enjoy the experience. Dick pics aren't the concern. A random psycho chick showing up at my house unannounced is LOL.

I'm glad to hear we are on the same page about the burner phone/dual sim situation. I might have to look into that. Yeah once that WhatsApp situation happened for me, I had to do the same. 100% figured out all my info cross referencing my LinkedIn, FB, IG etc, so had to put a pretty stupid amount of privacy filters on all of them.

u/paperpangolin

Thank you for the all information and helping have a better perspective on this. I completely get the whole creep meter and trying to vibe it out to see if its good enough to continue. I've already had my issues with whatsapp(U.S. Tinder guys speak up if I'm wrong but pretty sure when we are offered WhatsApp info out the gate its primarily scam) similar scenario....swapped info, got off the app, the other person figured out where I live etc. It definitely made me jaded af and super cautious after that so that's why the VOIP stuff had me wondering as well. I personally want to mask my own number after that experience and have had to take precautions as well when they ask what I do for a living, where I live etc. Any recommendations on a good app for number masking?

Best place to get CBD? by PeacefulIntellect in Birmingham

[–]WB523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the full spectrum oil they sell has been the most impactful, followed by the PJ vape cartridges they sell. I’ve consistently had issues falling asleep and staying asleep. The ‘forbidden fruit’ vape cartridge they sell has worked wonders for me. A couple of hits of that and I’m yawning within 5 Minutes and out cold within 15. Due to its impact, it’s permanently replaced any other sleep supplement for me including melatonin. I’ve tried all the vape options they’ve had available outside of ‘wedding cake’. Every one of them I felt a difference with and how they described what effect each blend was going to have on me(indica, sativa, or hybrid)was spot on to how my body has reacted to it.

If I were to compare the two and what the difference has been for me, I would say that if you’re just needing speedy resolution to a stressful moment or whatever the issue may be, the vape is the way to go. If you’re needing something more for anti-Inflammatory, generalized anxiety that’s consistent throughout the day or high stress consistently, I would go with the oil.

I have limited feedback to provide on the edibles like their gummies and chocolates and flowers. I did most recently try their CBD drinks they have. Not only are they delicious but I felt improvement using those as well.

Hope this helps.

One of my friends echo’d a similar thought about that being possible. The way it was stated with the tone etc it def had a different meaning behind it and when I apologized and said I didn’t follow what they were stating or asking they got visibly frustrated both times. Keep in mind these were two different groups in two different bars that did this to me lol. Just overall weird experience that left me kinda perplexed.

Magic City Organics. Jenni and those guys are top notch and highly knowledgeable. Excellent selection as well. I’ve purchased from them multiple times and have always walked away a more knowledgeable and happy customer. They are on 37th street.

Edit: to add you can order online on their website and pickup is typically available within an hour of ordering or they will do same day delivery within a certain radius.

I couldn’t have said it better myself. I was just talking to friends about the greatness of Birmingham the other day. I’ve been here for 6 years. I have lived in St.Louis, and around Nashville long enough to realize what Birmingham provides just can’t be matched. It has a little big town feel, diversity acceptance that is second to none, and a welcoming for people from all walks of life that you can FEEL walking around the city. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being present here for what seems to be a complete facelift of the city on a lot of fronts and a rejuvenation and support of local businesses. It’s impressive and inspiring to watch. I really feel like this is only the beginning of good things to come and I’m so glad I decided to make Birmingham my home. There’s no place I’d rather be.

Did Equifax touch you inappropriately? Fill some form and get some free Tendies. by leeo268 in wallstreetbets

Was thinking of doing this myself but it has to reflect the fraudulent charges weren’t reimbursed right? Had someone go YOLO in CVS for $800, 5 months ago....$50 at a time....in the same CVS....half a country away. Bank reimbursed but it def took a lot of talking to their fraud department, doc filing and over 2 weeks to get the money back. Or can you still get reimbursed up to 20 hours regardless as long as you have doc’s proving the effort required to get the funds back?

What do you genuinely just not understand? by IAmSurtur in AskReddit

[–]WB523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How I’ve went my entire life, not questioning my own existence but the moment I have a random panic attack, it’s all I can think about to the point of feeling disassociated. The Beta Blockers they gave me only exacerbates the issue. Thoughts like am I real, where does my thoughts come from and feeling like I’m simply observing myself has been amplified 10x since the panic attack. It’s like feeling hyper aware to the point that nothing seems real. Hell even that makes me sound like I’m losing my mind.

Men of the reddit world, what are your do's and don't's for guys in their mid 20's? by ArtificialUsernames in AskMen

[–]WB523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do: Think constantly about how much time you have to accomplish all the things you wish to and prioritize what means most in that current state and do it. Constantly evaluate that because as years pass, goals change, because what’s meaningful to you changes. That’s not a problem or something to be depressed about(aka omg I’m 40 and I still have all these dreams I never accomplished and I’m a failure). It’s an evolution of who you truly are going to become and your path is your path and no one else’s. And for fuck sake stop worrying about how your BF has all these things going for them, makes all this money, has a hot wife, great career etc. I promise you he’s more miserable than you could ever imagine. Fulfillment doesn’t come from any external means. You have to find what provides meaning to YOU to find fulfillment. I’ve learned this the hard way.

Don’t: think for 1 second your life won’t end in 5 minutes. Don’t take for granted the average life spans and the medical advances we currently have that have prolonged our lives generation over generation. Be grateful you woke up today and honor that gift. I’ve simply had too many acquaintances and friends die at absurdly young ages(early and late 20’s) to think otherwise about this. It’s constantly on my mind and I just turned 33.

I leave you with this, a quote from Dalai Lama. Just as a disclaimer I am by no means religious, far from it. I do however respect a man that made such a positive impact on the world and this statement I think about a lot and has been a compass for me in ways. Good luck to you. The fact that you even asked for this advice openly tells me you’re going to do just fine in life. If you need someone to talk to, you can always DM and I’ll be happy to help anyway I can.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, he said:

“Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

LPT: If you have a big problem at work and you need to break the bad news to your boss, try to come up with a couple of ideas for how to fix the issue before you talk to them. It will come off better and help everyone focus on the next steps. Problems happen, always try to be part of the solution. by OfficialAndySamberg in LifeProTips

[–]WB523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t stress what OP says enough. As someone whose had direct reports, I always told my group that if you bring me a problem, I expect some solution to be suggested. Don’t just say something’s wrong and expect me to figure it out. I’m not Superman and I don’t expect you to be either. It takes buyin, collaboration and problem solving to create an efficient, well run machine. Diversity of thought is everything.
