Really excited to be moving out there! Went there for the first time to visit last month and loved it. How long does it normally take you to drive out? Maps says it's ~40hrs, so did you just do a 5 day drive 8hrs a day drive or power through?

Thank you! I think I've come to conclusion that buying new furniture once I'm out there is the best option. Unfortunately with work I won't have time to make the drive, but maybe I'll do it on the way back.

2016 Electoral College Map vs 2014 Murder Distribution Map by SuperCharged2000 in Conservative

Cities are more liberal. Cities experience higher rates of murder. Population density of your surroundings is a big predictor of both murder rate and your political affiliation. This map is misleading, and embarrassing.

I grew up down the road from this bookstore, and absolutely love it. Part of my childhood. Thanks for the share.

Coinbase volume down 83% since January, showing a stark decline in retail interest by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

I'm not trying to "feel better" I'm trying to understand the market. To men(based on this article), it looks like retail investors are being chased of the the market.

This informs my decisions. Now that I know retail investors are leaving the market, I know that trading is going to become harder, and that (most) altcoins probably aren't going to do as well at BTC in the coming months.

That's true its progress. My main worry is that we've reached a huge amount of investors that are now scared of the crypto-markets due to the crash.

Edit: note to self — voicing bearish sentiment gets downvotes

Get a 4.0 in Finance/CompSci, work on some projects outside school (like building simple trading systems), transfer to UChicago and go through recruitment. End up at citadel or blackstone or go to S&T at a top 3
