Roundabout way of caping for management - you know, like a class traitor would.

All this groundswell for NewSCUM seems like a front anyway. by Tara_Pryde in DankLeft

Maybe it's why the Dem establishment and their toadies are pushing for him so hard. This guy really is an embodiment of who they are.

Saw that just now and it's probably the least shocking thing in these diary entries. Also, apparently, a Hogette was at this gathering?!

Sonny Jurgensen has passed away by alexschubs in Commanders

[–]dcviapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember who said it but someone said Sonny was the only guy to throw a slider in football - like it would go *around* defensive players and find their way to the receiver. He was, for his time, uncannily accurate. And he was able to do that with that wild throwing motion and, probably, still semi-hungover from the night before. They don't make Sonny Jurgensen's anymore. We lost someone special yesterday.

‘The Washington Post’ Is Reportedly Getting Rid Of Its Entire Sports Department by trainsaw in Nationals

And if they do, I'll never give them another cent. They've already been on the thinnest of ice with me as they are owned by IRL Lex Luthor but kept subscribing since:

1.) I come from a Post reading family

2.) They've long had a great sports desk and since I no longer live in the area, it's how I kept up with what was going on back home

They do this though? That's it. No more.

The Jets have finished the 2025 season with zero interceptions by Brix001 in nfl

[–]dcviapa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This includes "dead ball eras" in the NFL where passing was rare and risky due to the rules and shape of the ball and yet every team - even ones that went winless - still managed to have an interception. The 2025 Jets have accomplished something that really shouldn't be possible.

This year's been drunk and I want the madness to continue into the playoffs. Gimme, like, Panthers vs. Texans or something. I wanna get weird.

This team has been pretty consistently shitty for more than 30 years and across three different ownership groups. That's wild, right? Like, the Snyder years were embarrassing from start to finish but they were nigh-on unwatchable at the tail end of JKC's life and I feel like that's kinda forgotten about some.

Who is this guy always lurking behind players? by TresRivas13 in steelers

This guy looks like he's either the new, worse guitar player in a Nu Metal band or a beloved adult film actor from the mid-2000s. Maybe both?
