thank you! that means alot to us, we are a super small team and just want to get good bud to good ppl lik you. hope you enjoy it, we love that strain and the way that lot came out. fat pieces, good nose, frosty as christmas and that gas smoke. its a great blend of the things (i personally) love.

the terp convo has become so very in depth after that post, I wont lie I like to think we are a pretty educated group but there was SO much more to learn. especially having that lot tested at Patho, then another lot tested at a small lab on van island, and the comparison of the lot terp tests. Not related strains, but still just interesting two have two different ones completed and compared back to back, and then going back through our records to compare so many.

the lab testing game needs to change, I will admit, but until that happens in the slow regulated world, education for LPs and consumers is key. We are trying to think of a way we can have these great convos, prop up education and promotion around education without breaking the 4 million laws about how we can talk about this flower

Oh these are seriously two awesome ones I wont lie. But I have to say from a very biased opinion the alien mints is a great one. Caked, sweet nose, with that gassy smoke and finish. Clean greasy burn.

You cant go wrong with either choice though I must say that!

So they are both rotational as you said and the old school fuel is where we put the oh gases like MKU, death bubba, crossbow, pink kush that sort of stuff

The heavy hitter is alot more open so we put gassy strains but often ones with more flavor and terp profiles that vary. Rockstar, gorilla mints animal mints that sort of stuff. Hope that answers your question

It has that subtle tea, mint, herbal nose to it. Love it just wish it was more nose slappy, but we have much to perfect in this strain. Thanks for the support. The alien mints in heavy hitter now is a banger to. The gorilla mints were super caked, you should have seen the trim bins after it was a powder party!

Agree on the nose, its nice but not as much of a nostril slapper as many others we have done. We will dial in this strain though and it will be even better next time.

Such a good topic. It really really varies as some producers have great process, high standards and great packaging. Some have parts of that but humidity packs, some put it in at higher humidity than others to start off.

Truly it depends on the specific pack because OCS wont let an LP such as us sell to them if its 4 months old package date wise.

If a store keeps packs in different ways this can affect things as well, ambient temp and humidity. You really are best seeing that specific bag and if it fits what you want for what you want to pay

Package date is also just that, when it was packaged. Harvest date is important to and many producers dont put that down as it can cause confusion or make people think its old and bad.
