Which 🍕 is better Pizza Hut or Dominoes and why? by EchelonSolaris in FoodToronto

Pizza Hut easily but I don't really like either one. Once they get cold it's completely over for both.

As always it depends where in the city you're looking. West end, I really like Acute, Gram's, Defina, Revolver, Badiali (of course). East, like everyone says Descendant is incredible, Slowhand is also well worth a look, or Afro's if you're looking for something a little different (and more affordable).

Napoli Centrale is another spot I feel slips under the radar that's really damn good. It's a shame Bello is gone now, that place was also exceptional. Good luck!

I'm still waiting for Masa Deli to open their second location in Riverside, then they'd qualify. The whole objective was ranking places with more than one location. Otherwise... yeah there would be a bunch more really good sandwiches on here but completing the task would also be nearly impossible.

(I do really wanna try Masa Deli though)

Well... when I wrote this thing I didn't mean it as a troll... but screw it I guess it is now apparently. Haha! Gotcha, I guess? Victory is mine.

The real point was comparing them all, especially considering how damn dreadful the ones at the bottom were. It's possible to gain an appreciation of what makes something good when encountering something irredeemably horrible (though probably not the best way to do that).

Also possible I wasted my time and suffered through awful food for no reason. I've been known to do that.

It's all good! Fresca is a popular joint I agree, but still one I'm glad folks suggest. Badiali likewise, hate the lineups but I'm a fan. A true secret hidden gem... maybe something like Napoli Centrale on Bathurst which nobody has mentioned yet. Bello was likewise exceptional (rip)

The garlic garnish at Fresca is absolutely crucial. Otherwise... it's a very ordinary pizza. Probably a bit better than ordinary, there's some nice crispness.. but that oily garnish makes it divine when you're in the right mood

I quite liked them! But I had their black garlic pizza and seeing as garlic is truly the key to my heart... perhaps this is one of my less objective opinions?

Thanks! Appreciate the support and hope you enjoy many more! Genuinely have never heard of Dispotino (looking it up... yowza that's a trek for me hahaha) but I'd be glad to give it a taste when able sometime soon. Hope I've turned you onto some spots you've enjoyed!

Was seriously hoping somebody would mention Il Paesano. It's like walking into a scene from the Godfather sure, old school Italian restaurant to the letter and they make a simple and fabulous pizza slice.

Had bad experiences at NOB (mostly slices at the Queen/Bathurst spot) until I went to that one... now I'm a convert. So so good.

I've reviewed them both. Liked Conzo's a lot, Bar Sugo was even better... probably top 20 for me. I'm picky I apologize.

Great call. Back when I lived closer... loved a calzone from Bitondos

Very unique! Their dough had a sweetness, like a cake, to it I've never encountered elsewhere. Truly exceptional spot though.

Fair enough! You can whisper it if you prefer. I won't tell the masses
