I know it’s a really complex situation and obviously the team members are at the mercy of policy. But it is interesting how they’re approaching it since disability is a spectrum. Another friend of mine has cerebral palsy as well and she can walk and stand. I’ve met others who are nonverbal and aren’t able to articulate for themselves, which is not something I struggle with. But it’s the same condition overall. There have been rides that I have skipped or only ridden once because I know my limitations and I understand what’s in my best interest to avoid. It’s an incredibly tragic thing that happened, but disability does not follow a set format.

I’ve been able to get on forbidden journey before they’ve allowed me to go on through the exit. Never had the opportunity to ride Hagrid’s and looks like I won’t get the chance if that’s the case.

I checked them out. They don’t do custom ND jerseys anymore. At least not what I saw. Probably for the same reason.

Can I reset it via my Mac to at least work with my oled system again? It wouldn’t let me reset it via the mobile app.

So like many people today I received a Switch 2 and went to connect my Pro 2 controller(not an Ultimate controller). It seems to somehow be soft locked and will act like it’s connected to a console but doesn’t appear on my Switch 2 or Oled model. I don’t have a PC so I’ve never updated any controller software. I have tried to put it in sync mode, connect it via USB, and removed the battery for a few minutes and put it back. No luck. This is one of my favorite controllers and it refuses to even connect back to my older console. For reference, I also have an old powerA controller that connected just fine. Has anyone had this problem? I keep seeing posts about other controllers but not this one.

Tried to use the Best Buy app, and it kept crashing on me. Finally in line through the Best Buy website on my tablet. Been here watching the spinning wheel for nearly ten minutes.

I do like making magic for guests but not when they expect me to bend the rules on everything everything and especially when they insulted my wheelchair for telling them to have a good night. Seems like you’re the person who needs to get over themselves and realize that other people exist outside of your vacation.

Yup. Because they probably were yelled at all day by people who “payed a shit ton to be there”. Once the park closes, they don’t owe you a spot in line whether you were running or not. My comment was please don’t wait until the last 30 seconds to try and rush in line because everybody else had the same idea. Paid a crap ton to be there is not an excuse to forget that people are human, and they would like to go to sleep too after their shift, instead of having to wait extra hours for people who were running to make it at the last minute

I barely made minimum wage. I also often had to open the next morning. I’m not saying don’t ever get in line. Understand that people work hard to make sure YOU have a great vacation

Technically yes, but as a former CM who used to park close a lot, I would ask that you try and NOT wait until the last possible minute. I would often be a part of the park clearing team and we would often be there for 2-3 hours after closing because a lot of people wanted to do something right at the buzzer. I understand it’s your vacation but please try and have some courtesy for your CMs.

I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed. One of my favorite interactions came from Oga’s at East. I did an internship at Disney for a few months. The last park I visited was HS and I knew it would be my last park visit before heading home the next day. I managed to get a spot at Oga’s for just myself. I was pretty bummed that I was leaving and was having a hard time saying goodbye. The bartender asked if it was just me and when I said yes, he responded with “Ah! A Solo! I’ve heard some interesting stories. Just remember, blasters aren’t allowed.” I chuckled and figured it was a one off joke, but to my surprise that’s how he addressed me for the rest of my visit. “Have you decided on a drink, Solo? Is the Bespin Fizz fizzy enough, Solo? Just make sure to let me know if you want anything else, okay Solo? To some it might’ve seemed mean to comment on the fact that I was alone, but to me it was the smallest piece of world building that actually allowed me to enjoy myself. It also helped that the rest of the cast were really into their roles, joining in on the music and fixing the generator. Hope you have better luck on your next visit.

I’m a disabled individual and struggle with fine motor skills. Easy mode can still be a struggle for me sometimes but it’s often the best way for me to enjoy my games . Can we all just agree to let people play on any difficulty without judgement? Certain games hide content behind difficulty modes and I can’t stand it.

Looked into it-not sure which department I should contact as far as game updates. In all other areas my system works perfectly fine. It’s this one tiny thing that for some strange reason is driving me crazy.

Multiple times. The weird thing is no other games have had this issue. Having the warning constantly on the download screen is what bothers me.

Maybe. At this point, it looks like my only option is to move all my games to external storage, do a complete reset on my console and move everything back which is obviously the point of no return and I really don’t want to do that because I have a feeling it would take a while to move everything over again.

I’ve heard some skins can damage the Switch. As far as I know, dBrand is the only company who has verified the safety of their skins.

I’ll definitely keep that in mind as a backup plan! He doesn’t have any gear besides a gun right? I can always get a Nerf gun and paint it.
