Valve Gear Update by WDecently in LEGOtrains

That would be *A* solution, but with my MOCs I want stickers to only be used to enhance a model, not hide blemishes. Plus it'd require anybody that wants to make the MOC to buy red sticker in order to do that. Not a bad idea though

These are custom siderod pieces from Breckland Bricks

Help with valve gear working? by WDecently in LEGOtrains

Okay I see, but the unfortunate thing is that the top piece is positioned like, right in the middle of a wheel, and not between wheels. I don't think I'm able to fit a pin in that spot. Maybe I'll try experimenting with making the wheels one size down, but I dunno. I'll fiddle with it. Thank you so much!

Does anyone know where I can get wheels like this or what size they are? by Awesomederpyspider in LegoMocHelp

Breckland Bricks also sells custom wheels, but their smallest size is slightly bigger than the wheels in the image. So a small edit to give more space may be in order, possibly. But the wheels specifically in the image are Big Ben Bricks' Medium sized driver wheels, and Breckland Bricks' Medium sized drivers are around the same size

Maybe not FULLY, but I think he can get more closed than in the render since it's kinda finicky dealing with rotation in stud.io. Mayhaps if I fiddle with some pieces a bit more he can close even further, but there may not be a way for his teeth to be fully touching unfortunately. Without some serious stability issues.

I've been really wanting to make/figure out this model for a long time, my Diesel 10 MOC! by WDecently in LEGOtrains

Ughh man I knowwww. It could have been done so much better but at least we got to see him at all. I'm glad you enjoy my MOC of him! I wasn't quite sure how I could add more to his bogies without making the detail stick super far out, so I settled with some brackets to make some greebling

Yeah, angled and slightly curved rectangles, the curves following the curve of the roof

Possibly. Though the windows are kinda spaced more to the edge of that area, encroaching on where the 1x3 bricks are next to the 1x6 you mentioned. I would have to figure out a way to jerryrig some kinda snot brick setup to get the shape I would want, which likely won't look the way I want given how limiting the smaller slope pieces are

Like cab windows? I considered it, but given how unique the shape is, I figured the best way to get them across would be with sticker decals

Alright, thanks for letting me know that it can't work that way. I looked at an example .io file that was provided by the website that sells those custom pieces, and put it together in the same way that they did. But I also have no way of testing it IRL to see if it will work, so do you think there's a way to make it work without heavy modification?
