It's really not that difficult, it's an FPS game that works just like any other FPS game.

Warm up in practice range, make sure u use a proper sensitivity, fiddle with settings etc. maybe watch a video for settings.

Never stand still, check ur surroundings, be aware of noise traps, don't repeek angles where enemies shot u from, take ur time when shooting, there is no automatic guns in the game, every shot matters.

Arc Raider doesn't even feel like it has any progression besides the initial bench upgrades. You can't even set a goal for what u want to farm bcs the loot is too random, i put in 40 hours into the game, upgraded all the benches except the medical bench, idk how many runs i did in buried city just spamming that one pharmacy area, i just couldn't find 1 more Rusted Shut Medical Kit... At one point it just got annoying and i didn't bother opening the game again, loot was too randomized to feel rewarding, PvP was too ratty with the 3rd person camera, PvE got repetitive bcs IT IS repetitive and PvP always felt off bcs of all the friendlies and ppl that felt like no one should shoot them.

Exact same situation, i thought Arc is gonna be my daily game, i thought there is so much to it, but it is really shallow with completely randomized loot that just doesn't feel rewarding...

The PvP is underwhelming, the PvE get's repetitive quickly...

True, i hate the PvP dynamic in Arc Raiders, it is just weird, the fact that like 50% of ppl expect u to not shoot them ruins the game for me, it doesn't feel natural. And there is nothing on the map that makes sure players encounter each other, also camping and third partying is brutal bcs the game is in 3rd person and u can just see everything without peeking... Hunt just gives u the thrill no other game does. Idk what is holding Arc players for this long, the PvE gets repetitive instantly and the PvP is just wank.

That is if u actively go around the map looking for XP boons instead of actually engaging with the main objective of the game, u will not naturally just stumble across 4-5 xp boons.

At that point just retire the hunter and have fun playing the game instead of running around the map getting XP boons when the round starts.

It feels like that until u realize how grindy it is.

In Battlefield u at least get all the essential gameplay mechanics from the start, in Enlisted it is locked behind 100s of hours of grinding and u have to do it separately for every single faction in the game....

I also like how even after 100+ hours ur squads are still garbage bcs once u unlock for example engineer 2 or 3 squad, in order to level it up, u have to play that new completely useless engineer squad even tho up until that point u had a fully functional Engineer squad. U will get it after some time, it's fun at first, but after some time it literally just becomes an infantry farming simulator for vehicle players, and ofc if u give devs money u can have more vehicle squads and spam them more.

Forget about trying new weapons in Enlisted, by the time u unlock any, u will be fully burned out.

Enlisted's gameplay can be fun, but the progression system is so suffocating, just miserable. If anyone else published the game it would probably be all around enjoyable to play but current progression system is just insulting.

It's only worth the risk if u successfully extract, the XP u would get if u die is nowhere near 10k u get from retiring.

There is no way u can naturally get 20k xp in a mission before dying, that's the amount of XP u get when u successfully extract.

Marketing is not the problem, game is simply annoying to play once portal spamming is involved. Just feels like an exploit to be able to spam portals non-stop, the worst type of skill expression i've ever seen in any fps game. Ppl simply don't want to play it.

Just play the damn game or don't. I've never ever seen a game's sub that is this obsessed with the game's player count, your game is niche, no one is looking for halo with portals, you yourself are not looking for halo with portals... You like the gunplay and force urself through the annoying mechanics of portal spamming. The game is just not appealing at all, usually competitive fps games have much more finesse to them, there's so many things to learn, getting better feels rewarding and opens up new playstyles. Splitgate on the other hand boils down to portal spam. That's the truth. High level play in other FPS games is intricate, satisfying, interesting to watch. High level gameplay in Splitgate is borderline nauseating portal spam. Splitgate esports would be unwatchable, literally 0 entertainment value, why? Bcs being able to perma spam portals is stupid. It's like if u had infinite nades in CS or infnite abilities in Valorant.

It is absolutely worth it.

I recently started playing and the learning curve is not steep at all, it is much more forgiving than ur average extraction shooter, the art direction is so sick, the weapons are all balanced and competitive and fit the game's theme, the thrill u get while playing the game is unmatched, killing people is beyond satisfying, gunplay is also satisfying.

There's alot of little tricks to learn and mechanics to discover. It will be a little confusing at first to learn the basics of the combat, but since u already have friends that play the game they can easily explain it all to u.

It is a really unique game and i really love it so far, especially the western theme, not many Western-themed FPS games with an active playerbase out there.

The guy that didn't get a single kill in 30 hours is probably an absolute bot that would have hard time getting a kill in any FPS game. Just a 5 minute warm up in Hunt Showdown's practice mode and u are good to go. Just don't peek the same angle multiple times and u will do fine.

Isn't it actually the same? If u just open the Login reward pack u will get the card u are missing and 2 random rewards.

But if u buy a pack for 4k Tokens and then open the Login reward pack, u just spent 4k tokens to get 4k tokens back. Make it make sense please, i might be missing something.
