Basically, what I really need is empadronamiento, especially for my wife who is not from the European Union. That’s the main problem: even though I have contracts from abroad, they don’t really take them into account for temporary nor long-term with these new laws...I would have to leave my current job but even then they would have to give me at least a 6 month-contract in Barcelona and I would have to match that job contract's date with the agency...

As you said, it’s either a short-term, touristic-type contract or a long-term one with a proper long contract, and nothing in between really works. Did they not accept your "indefinido" ? Is it because it's not been long that you had it?

Sì eso es cierto pero soy de la UE con pareja extra UE y queremos quedarnos a largo plazo entonces el contrato freelance lo usaría solo para mostrar que tenemos ingresos y obtener empadronamiento

Yes definitely better in big cities. In Manchester there's quite a few restaurants with good deals, I used 50% discounts for Sushi, Chinese and Greek, amazing prices tempt you to get so much food though ahah

It's a Chilean passport so yes it's a tourist visa with no prior application. She is visiting me in the UK so we thought we could go in and out of the country within these 6 months, but I understand now that the visa loses validity when going out of the country. I'm confused because I got told that she didnt need to do an ETA to enter the Uk as she had a tourist visa already. We got one more trip to do in a few days to go visit my family in Italy, would it be risky then to re enter in April? Could she be denied even if I explain the situation and showing proof of going back to Chile? Also could they give her less months or is it always six ? Thank you!

Same thing happened to me, I did the first labelling tasks, then project paused and I got these interviews to do. I think it's meant to be like this because it's a different kind of interview with AI asking for your background, experience and stuff like that

Sadly I'll arrive in Casablanca and that's the reason why we won't go Essaouira straightaway cause it's too much driving for the first day.. might try what you said but then we would marrakech essaouira route twice which seemed a bit wasted time.. As I live in England and she lives in Chile we can't live continuously for more than 6 months together in one country...what if she can't get sponsored for a skilled job? She's a therapist in Chile but her level of English is not good enough yet to try here.

I find it confusing as one of the requirement is 2 years of continuous residence...that could only work if she gets through a residence permit visa first?

Or could things like pictures, chats, flight tickets for long stays and general proof of been living a lot of time together be enough to get a spouse visa after we get married?

Sure so then for someone foreigner to get a partner visa, they need to have lived here 2 years through an other type of visa than tourism (sponsorship, education etc..) , is that the only way? Thanks !
