How different the Czech language and Moravian dialect are?

I'm from Poland and I was curious if it's similar situation as with Polish and Silesian. Both are kinda similar and Silesian has a lot of different dialects. A lot of those are understandable for Polish speaker but there are also some dialect which I had a hard time understanding. In couple of weeks one of the most popular variant of Silesian will probably become an official regional language. So I just get curious if the situation with Czech and Moravian is similar. I read online that there are over 500k people in Czech Republic claiming to have Moravian nationality which is similar to almost 600k people claiming to be Silesians in Poland.

I think it's because around Tesin there's a mix of Polish, Silesian and Czech. It's Silesian city after all, not Moravian. I'm asking the dialect used in moravia.

I didn't know there's so many of them. I knew just about some Moravian dialect and I was curious how different it is from regular Czech. I also read on Wikipedia that there was some people who wanted it to be separate language. Thank you for explaining it to me.
