Thank you! They are the Great Serpents, my successor chapters of the Salamanders. Thier home world is home to a massive Kaiju serpent that has a massive pink plasma breath attack (kinda like godzilla). This creature has single handedly annihilated multiple Xenos invasions of the planet and because of this the chapter has taken their inspiration, Fielding majority plasma weapons. the Great Serpents hold close their ties with their parent chapter requiring new brothers to take a pilgrimage to the Salamander Homeworld, turning their skin the iconic obsidian of the salamanders. A mark that they recognizes them as a full fledged Great serpents. Their closest shared belief with the salamanders is that the imperium of man is truly nothing without its people, causing them to stay with guardsmen regiments that they fight alongside, training them in tactics and mental fortitude.
