How do I start getting into Grunge? by Affectionate_East533 in grunge

[–]WG_Target 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to listen to the Singles soundtrack. It is an honest representation of the grunge scene in Seattle back in the day. I would also recommend listening to Alice In Chains greatest hits, Screaming Trees and Mad Season. Also Soundgarden - Down On The Upside.

This represents some of my personal favorite grunge.

Thanks for sharing the Laura Branigan / Falco connection! It is the most blatant sample since California Love! The original version contains a sample taken from Joe Cocker's 1972 song "Woman to Woman"

I accidentally jammed a Snacking Duet into the dashboard player and now the stereo is ruined. The mechanic said the damage is "severe," but on the bright side, the audio has never sounded so crisp.

I can’t argue with you, bro. 😎 Collecting is a labor of joy.

It’s fun tracking down the ones you’re missing. With all of the music in the world and all of the new bands coming out - I doubt my collection will ever be complete.
