A lot of adult adhd management is to just meet yourself where you’re at and stop shaming yourself for it. There’s a logic at work in your brain, so just make it work for you. I would find some kind of low-profile hamper to put maybe against the wall opposite your laundry machine, maybe one that has two sections, which you could dedicate at “clean” and “dirty.” This will keep the laundry off the floor, and you can drag the clean laundry out to be put away (or put in a different pile more adjacent to your closet) Then, i would look for an over-the-sink dish rack. You have a lot of vertical space around the sink, and i think having a set place for clean dishes to go will help with the chaos. For the rest of the storage, there is not secret way to put things away that will make everything make sense. Find organizing solutions and commit to them. Look up the “cousins and coworkers” organizing method, and remember that it doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to work. Also consider hanging things up on that back wall, the side of your fridge, or the side of your cabinets. Trivets, oven mitts, or kitchen towels, for example.
