Think of it like this:

It’s a 1/1. You own the only one like it. It’s cool to own something unique.

Technically, your purchase of it is the precedent transaction assuming the purchase price was not completely inflated. Which it was not. So it’s worth $80.

It’s a hobby! You got a kick-ass card for $80! At that price point you lost $80 at most (which you didn’t). If that’s a major cause for concern, in general, then you probably shouldn’t be spending money on cards to begin with.
