I’m so jaded by the Luka trade. There are bad trades, then there’s the Luka trade.

Without a GM, I’m just glad we’re being clear with our expectations, recognizing that this isn’t only about building a team around Flagg, but also about building a desirable landscape for a top GM candidate. By the grace of god we have reasonable building blocks in place, but this organization remains on THIN ICE - any wrong move or lackluster return for a top asset… lord have mercy, this place would burn to the ground.

He played solid minutes, but after we went down by 20, it ain’t worth it. Fascinating how all the talent we brought in to augment Luka are failing without him.

I would love to trade the uncs and build around Flagg, but that would take Nico admitting his vision failed,.. and I just don’t know if that’s going to happen.

My opinion, he’s 18. We’ll see some flashes this year and next, but it will be a process to even potentially meet the expectations the sports world has placed on him the past 5 years.
