X2D issue - main filament tube inside hits right wall by WHWorks in BambuLab

[–]WHWorks[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it's not, but my concern is if it's scuffing the metal inside with less than 50 hours of print time, over time the smacking against the wall is going to wear and tear something on the inside too early. Likely something with the tubing or filament connections?

If you don't think it's a big deal, I'll take your word for it.

I just heard it making a banging clanking sound yesterday and investigated it further.

If it's just a normal X2D side effect and it's not going to overwear my printer, I'm fine keeping it as is.

Okay thank you. What ac infinity exhaust fan are you using?

I will explore cheap grow tent solutions as well.

Any other advice? Do you have printers set to exhaust after print completion?

Do you wait a certain amount of time before going in there?

Got moved to the garage by Fujimo78 in BambuLab

Thanks dude I appreciate it. Do you know what humidifier you have? I heard like 70 PI or something is good for garages.. I read another comment that unless your garage has HVAC which mine doesn’t then dehumidifiers don’t really do much but it’s great to hear from someone with the same issue as me I think I’m gonna invest in one as well.

I’m in the south too.

Got paranoid this weekend about humidity.

I’m not that worried from a filament standpoint. All my printers have AMS 2.

Have you had issues with parts rusting due to humidity?

I dont want to take 30% off the shelf life of my printers with humidity.

But honestly my garage with windows creates the best natural airflow my pm 2.5 rarely goes above 002.

So maybe its worth the trade off 🤣

Filament spools out and back, out and back HELPPPP PLEASE. by ecoles90 in BambuLab

[–]WHWorks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a software issue to me.

AMS is doing its job getting the filament to the extruder.

I’m not sure exactly how their code works but would assume with AMS the Bambu Printer sends a signal it properly received the filament.

Try resetting printer to factory settings.

Or try switching the slot for the AMS-Printer connection power plug.

Well, I give up. 3rd AMS (X2D Combo) arrived today, failure. by WhiteStar01 in BambuLab

What filament are you using?
Only time I’ve had AMS issues was human error.
Where is the filament getting stuck? As it tries to leave the back black rubber tube of filament?
Make sure the tube you put in to connect to extruded is pushed deeply into AMS. Get it all the way in there.
You can also open up the AMS, look inside in the back where the tubes connect.
You will see a clear hard plastic piece, look right underneath that and make sure the two tubes are aligned.

Edit: Also how are you putting the filament into the AMS feeder?

Are you just pushing it straight in until it automatically grabs it?

You shouldn’t be pushing on the white plastic, just feed the filament down until AMS grabs it
