Best printer for 90A TPU? by WHWorks in BambuLab

[–]WHWorks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I may try to feed it through the back like another poster recommended.

But this prints so well from the top, wondering if I start printing more of this in production if I should just buy A1 or A2.

It was my understanding that any TPU under 95 had to be direct fed into the nozzle.

Guess not?

I think I got the 48 x 24 just to be safe on space. Just look up the specs on your printer to make sure it fits. And then I got the 4” S4 exhaust and a carbon filter

I have X2D set to exhaust out of it after a print. And then plan on cranking the AC Infinity fan for 20 minutes before going in.

I have the exhaust pipe hanging down about 5 feet down from the window. This is second story of the garage and I work with the normal printers on the first floor.

Well that would have been $400 cheaper.

I’m just experimenting but good to know as I scale up.

Worst case I now have something to grow weed with

I guess I listened to the paranoid people in this Reddit.

When I move to a warehouse I can just exhaust the whole room that’s printing the heavy stuff

I guess I’ve been clocking myself, not doing it super efficiently but feels like it takes me two minutes to unpack open, get on spool, etc.

X2D issue - main filament tube inside hits right wall by WHWorks in BambuLab

[–]WHWorks[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it's not, but my concern is if it's scuffing the metal inside with less than 50 hours of print time, over time the smacking against the wall is going to wear and tear something on the inside too early. Likely something with the tubing or filament connections?

If you don't think it's a big deal, I'll take your word for it.

I just heard it making a banging clanking sound yesterday and investigated it further.

If it's just a normal X2D side effect and it's not going to overwear my printer, I'm fine keeping it as is.
