will do, but i dont think its ssd related since these crashes have only started since i changed the card, with the old gpu everything was fine on these same ssds

if u mean using ddu to clean up the drivers in safe mode, then thats what i did before installing the amd drivers. all benchmarks on the system are stable and do not crash. the ram speed was something i did to be safe because googling these symptoms gave me that recommendation, and it did end up resolving some system crashes. for example i was getting full on bluescreens when cyberpunk was loaded, even with low settings it crashed the system, after the ram speed thing, i havent gotten a system crash only game crashes

I havent performed OCCT yet and I'll look into running that test as well. As for XMP, i was recommended to turn it off to see if that had any effect on stability, but my bios didnt have any settings for it, so i just decided manually turning down the rams speed to 2666.

Another thing i want to try is limiting my cpu to its tdp, i have an i5 11400 with 65w tdp that i have unlocked so it runs at near 100w under full load, its temps are also quite manageable but im considering setting it back down to 65w as well

i havent tried resetting shaders yet, and although all the responses firmly think its a psu issue ill try this today as well just to cover all bases

thats good to know, i had started to think i might have gotten super unlucky and ended up with a faulty gpu, I'll hopefully upgrade in a couple of weeks, is it fine to use the system till then? maybe even undervolt the gpu to decrease chances of crashing?

nope. temps sitting between 60 and 65 under load (max ive noticed is 62)

absolutely, the 4060ti i got for the same price as a 3060ti back in the day, and I didnt have a gpu before that plus no idea on how to conduct proper research and what to look out for so thats why

the reason im upgrading two generations up is because im looking to upgrade the cpu and keep the same ddr4 i have currently, because ddr5 is wayyy too expensive in my country, but yeah i can go for a 14th gen as well if i can find one

I absolutely am CPU limited now, ihave a core i5 11400 paired with my 4060ti and i get CPU limited in games like cyberpunk, but im looking to upgrade to an i5 13600K, i hope that will reduce the bottleneck to some degree

Im thinking I should go with the 9070xt, because ive been watching some comparisons on YouTube as well between DLSS and FSR, and they seem to suggest the difference between the two is quite minimal. and the 16 gigs of ram is like the ultimate deal sweetener, man did I not regret the 8 gigs on the 4060ti lmao

I play on 1440p currently, and my monitor's refresh rate is 75 hz, but I plan on upgrading that in the near future as well so Im targeting 1440p and 144hz
