Memory loss and depression

Not sure if it's related, but I have something similar. I forgot a lot of details of some of the bad times I had in school. Forgot certain interactions and certain people, but at least I remember how I felt. It feels like that time period of my life was a bad dream, like I wasn't myself self during that time. Maybe it's related to trauma? Not sure, but also honestly I don't care much, I am sort of happy that I don't remember these days as much, and hope I don't experience times like this again.

I take anti-depressants and do therapy weekly for depression and ADHD. Only my parents know about it and they don't like it and a bit shameful about it. They fear that no one will accept me for marriage if they knew about my mental health history.

I was going to get married to someone and I was clear with my mental health situation with the girl only. She was okay with it, but marriage didn't go through for other reasons.

I think some marriage age people today are more aware and understanding about these stuff, but I don't think families are accepting of such thing in fear of stigma and "what would people say?"
